I wish Outdoors RV, Lance, and Northwoods would sell this side of the Mississippi. They are what I am interested in. Unfortunately, it is not easy to see one. I got to see my all time favorite finally, when in Alaska, last year. I have been told they wouldn't be able to handle more sales, because of how they operate. That is why the don't sell to us in the east.
I believe RV dealerships need to be held accountable for any problems when customers buy from a dealership. It should be the dealership is accountable for those new RVs so that the consumer doesn't lose their assets
I disagree. It's the manufacturers who are putting crap on the market. They are the ones who need to be held accountable and responsible for their failure to put out quality products. What you're suggesting, would be like me buying your car then holding you responsible when it catches fire because someone at the factory crossed some wires that caused an electrical short.
Consumers need to do their research. Rent FIRST before buying. Don’t buy into the commercials that advertises a very affordable monthly payment or the huge American flag 🇺🇸 on a pole. Take their time to buy. So what if someone else buys the camper that they were interested in. They’ll make another. Research to find your second camper the first time around. The manufacturers need to change their warranty work model and copy the auto industry. Let people be able to take their camper to any dealer that carries that brand for service for repair work. Dealers need to be honest every step throughout the sales process and try and scam the consumer. Basically it is a three way partnership. If everyone is honest and does the right thing then in theory there will be no problems.
Hey Uncle Josh, another great video. May I offer a suggestion for a future video to be aired during the month of September? September is National Preparedness Month. This is the month set aside by FEMA, states, and local governments to educate the public on surviving during a disaster or some type of emergency. When SHTF, government agencies and services can be overwhelmed and services may not be readily available. People need to learn how to take care of themselves for the first 72 hours. One thing that you need is shelter. RV owners have an advantage during any “bug out” situation, that is, you have your housing already. It’s just a matter of finding a place to set it up, having the fuel needed to cook or run the utilities. This is important and something that the average Joe six pack doesn’t consider. I’m the President of my town and every day during the month of September I publish tips, ideas, and suggestions from a variety of sources to educate the public. I offer this suggestion to give you time to create a video which may increase sales for Bish’s. Surely you sell a camper that would meet the need for most people in this regard.
As always on your lists, you put together my favorites and even though I'm looking for new suggestions to check out, I just fall more in love with the models you show off! I don't remember the model number to the bigger one but the 16ml and it's big brother are some really awesome models and I'm already seeing other manufacturers put out their spin on a "tiny home"-esque RV. I do wish the bigger one did the same thing as the 16 though, I want the "master" to be in the loft instead of on the ground floor. Then use the extra length to expand the living and kitchen spaces. I get what they did but when you look at tiny homes, the beds are in lofts due to the amount of square footage a bedroom takes up and what you could do with that space instead of dedicating it specifically to sleeping. Very excited to see what is to come from this idea!

Been eye balling this trailer for the last 1.5 yrs. Was going to wait until next year, but learned it was on the chopping block because it was a bit too much money for being the entry model to the Jay Flight line. I didn’t care for the lack of features on the 210QB and the older looking corrugated aluminum on the nose.

Hello Josh: Thanks for all the great videos packed with useful information.Question regarding the new tankless water heaters. I live in Canada and really enjoy early and late season camping when the temperatures are very close to 32 degrees fahrenheit. We always camp in provincial parks where there are no water hook ups so the tank is filled with water and it quickly cools down to the outdoor temperature. I have heard that these heaters are only capable of raising the temperature of the water from the tank by 50 or 60 degrees. If the tank water is 70 degrees to start with that is no problem, however up here in the frozen north if my tank water is sitting at 35 degrees adding 60 degrees makes for a very cold shower. Probably not the most appropriate question for a video that is primarily focused on trailers with no slides, but enquiring minds need to know! Thanks very much

Josh, RV industry question for you. Can a Forest River RV dealer order any brand of RV made by FR? To give an example, can Bish's RV order a No Boundaries NB16.1 even though they do not normally stock any new No Boundaries RVs?
Great question. Different companies have different structures Jayco and grand design for instance are like an all or nothing thing With Keystone, forest river, many others you pick the brands you want but can’t get the others
I would make the rifle locker look like a clothes closet that has a wood door and medal door that both door have locks on them, and put the back of the locker against the refrigerator and a, one side of this locker against a the bathroom and what ever side is on the out side wall I would put more insulation on that wall and a piece of sheet steel about 1/4 inch thick on the outside wall that is inside of that wall so you could not drill into the rifle locker.
I know this is the wrong video to ask, but I want to see a video of the Salem fsx 191ss. I can’t find any videos out there. Even on the web, I only see manufacturers pics.
Im surprised dealerships are still standing by Ember. I have ZERO experience with them but the amount of people experiencing leaking inside the campers is super uncommon. I never hear that about any other popular manufacturers.
If you knew the full history there, then you may understand why Majority of those reports stem from the 2022 models. Specifically related to an oversight in slide design Ember put out a recall to their dealers. Have them instructions on how to repair. Dealers just had to request parts and apply on affected units Vast majority of dealers never did anything. They sold known defects and then let the mfg take the heat In 2023 models their records improved greatly And again for 24’s Overland and touring are currently performing well overall
@@JoshtheRVNerd Wow...thank you sir for the insight. This is extremely good info. I will be keeping a close eye on the brand bc the concept is outstanding. Scary to see what they went through in 2022 and glad they are bouncing back as some don't after a fiasco like that. Thanks as ALWAYS Josh!
I am looking for a trailer for a single person that has rifle so I would like a 4 rifle locker in the camper. And all the sewage and the water pipes tucked up in the floor and the trail be insulated for deep winter camping or taking hunting.

@@JoshtheRVNerd we loved both our InTech’s just needed the bigger RV full time, we did a short stint full time waiting for our Brinkley. We miss the InTech often. If you get a chance check it out
Wish Winnebago Micro Minnie came in a no-slide configuration. Also, wish more RVs were pet-friendly. Our dogs are seat-belted with harnesses in the vehicle.
They have several no slide models btw
I thought "I" was the original slide skeptic. I call BS. 😂
😆
Josh, RV industry question for you. Can a Forest River RV dealer order any brand of RV made by FR? To give an example, can Bish's RV order a No Boundaries NB16.1 even though they do not normally stock any new No Boundaries RVs?
Great question. Different companies have different structures
Jayco and grand design for instance are like an all or nothing thing
With Keystone, forest river, many others you pick the brands you want but can’t get the others
You started with the best first! I'm curious if it is a true queen bed.
I don’t believe it is. It’s been a hot minute since I went thru but I usually touch on bed sizes in my full vids
MR. SCHOOLEY IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. THE LAST THING I WANT OR NEED, IS BIG HOLE IN THE SIDE OF MY HOUSE. SORRY SIR IF I SPELLED YOUR NAME WRONG.
haha yep. slide skeptic but tiny cable pulls out heavy weight box! every person i know has some kind of water coming from slide
How long is the garage in the Ember?
No vid is the wrong vid. That might be new. I’ll watch for it
Im surprised dealerships are still standing by Ember. I have ZERO experience with them but the amount of people experiencing leaking inside the campers is super uncommon. I never hear that about any other popular manufacturers.
If you knew the full history there, then you may understand why
Majority of those reports stem from the 2022 models. Specifically related to an oversight in slide design
Ember put out a recall to their dealers. Have them instructions on how to repair. Dealers just had to request parts and apply on affected units
Vast majority of dealers never did anything. They sold known defects and then let the mfg take the heat
In 2023 models their records improved greatly
And again for 24’s
Overland and touring are currently performing well overall
@@JoshtheRVNerd Wow...thank you sir for the insight. This is extremely good info. I will be keeping a close eye on the brand bc the concept is outstanding. Scary to see what they went through in 2022 and glad they are bouncing back as some don't after a fiasco like that. Thanks as ALWAYS Josh!
Thought you was based outta dfw?!! Did you change dealer ships??
Nope. I’ve always been in southern Michigan.
This video was worth it for 16:52 clip
😆
I am looking for a trailer for a single person that has rifle so I would like a 4 rifle locker in the camper. And all the sewage and the water pipes tucked up in the floor and the trail be insulated for deep winter camping or taking hunting.
I appreciate your focus on safety and security
Love the Vibe, is that hitch weight really 680 lb?
Yeah Murphy beds are a little heavier on the nose due to adding the sofa
Have you seen the Timberwolf 20OG yet? I would love to see an honest walkthrough on one of these. The only one I've seen was by a Rep I think, I trust your videos for seeing the plusses and minuses of units honestly not from a manufacturer rep.
sadly I have not. at a glance it looks better than the 16ML for my money
@@JoshtheRVNerd I have noticed over the last few weeks a bunch of the same style.
Hello Josh, hi can you make a toy hualer list too please.
I’ll see what I can do
@@JoshtheRVNerd thank you Josh! your the man!
Left off Intech Willow too.
Like no slides, thanks Josh
You bet
Hay Josh just for fun and to stir the pot have you put together a list of trailers that are twin to king beds? granted it will be a short list but for the folks that sometimes do buddy camping or just taking your kid but don't want to do the creepy sleeping thing
I haven’t but man that’s a short list
I would the rifle locker near or in the area where the adults or the coulpe will sleep.
For sure. Ty
Maybe a WD closet?
what are the top 5 things you hate about slide outs? 1. weight 2. costly, fill in #3-5
I actually talk about that here th-cam.com/video/DkgYjoijTNI/w-d-xo.html
Prime Time Avenger LE 22mkle
I’ll watch for one
wow lot is full of
dont see how they put refrigerator on slideout. that slide out cable is so skinny. then refrigerator wont cool because too hot
Slideouts like most of the parts on these cheaply built Indiana campers are completely unreliable.
🎉#NerdHerd
😃
No Intec?
I’ve simply never really had the pleasure of going thru them in any detail. They’d likely earn an entry for sure
Oops! Concerning quality. At my age, I am looking at a topper truck camper. Have had 5 trailers/motorhomes. Cannot put as much time into repair and costs as I used to (retired). Wish someone made a camper that was actually made so the headaches would be at a minimum.
Ember please update all models with ABS disc brakes.
I'm not sure that's compatible with their independent suspension..
@@JoshtheRVNerd Get on it Josh and engineer it my very well skilled and talented friend.
Morning with Josh is a staple in my early morning routine!
No slides!!!!
Instead of a slide- out, I would just get a longer trailer.
No slide rvs usually stop about 3ft total - and that’s bunkhouses. No slide couples rvs often stop shorter
Not sure if those ranges work for you
