Omg I’ve created this delusion in my head a lot in the past!! I used to think no one would like me if they knew my true self and would leave me. I make up random scenarios in my head and it’s honestly detrimental

Same!! I think it's one of those things where the thought of it is scarier than reality but once you actually do it, it's not that bad

Such a candid talk about toxic mindsets, thank you for sharing 👏🏼 I’m sure a lot of people can relate with the overthinking! Really agree re putting in effort in friendships, so important to put yourself out there

Thank you for listening! Exactly! We just have to not deflate ourselves when it happens but really make an effort for our own sake

I feel that social media really adds to these problems of not having that face to face interaction (and I guess now too as you said lockdown keeping humans apart) After having to be away from people so much this year I still feel huge amounts of anxiety thinking of socialising. Effort is really good advise! Always love listing in to your podcasts! 🌸 🌴

Bro, I know this exact feeling, and I’ve experienced this back in the States and in Korea. It frustrates me because I know it’s not helpful

It's one of those things you gotta practice little by little until you're used to it
