Is THIS How You Eat STRING HOPPERS? 🇱🇰

  • Folks, for todays lunch we are having a few things, but for the first time I will try the famous Sri Lankan string hoppers. On one of our walks we decide to take one of the local restaurants in the middle of the town - of course with no tourist around. Still, first they try to only give me daal instead of real gravy with my string hoppers. They think all foreigners can't eat spicy food - but they are wrong, we eat all the chilly in the world, so let's bring it on.

Also Pittu which is again made of coconut and rice flour can be served with sweet or spicy condiments.
