- I visited Sri lanka as my 3rd asian country and got this amasing stories to share.

Yes generally compared to countries like India, Pakistan and other south Asian countries, people are mostly united and living here in harmony. It's unfortunate that we had to go through a civil war for 3 decades straight but that's all because of the politicians not due to the public! As a Tamilian, I have many sinhala, Christian and Muslim friends. We always respect each other's religious values and culture. An year back.. The whole nation united against a single autocratic family to throw them out of power. We all should as one regardless of religion, caste and culture.. that speaks volume about how close and friendly we are ❤️

I visited Juba many times working as a consultant to Bank of SS. I am glad to see a fellow SS visiting my country. Though many said dangerous to visit Juba, i felt comfortable mainly due to my host looking after me. In my earlier visits around 2015 -18 i remember how buzzling was Juba but in my last visits 2020s things were not that good. There was a nice SL hotel near Canadian embassy and now it was abandoned. I still have lot of central banker friends there. I wish peaceful times for SS and enjoyable holiday to you in SL .

I do respect these school boys and others who were there talking with him. You guys were really nice. People here have commented about their english speaking level but, as a person who's learning in english medium since 5 years old, I could say that still I'm not 100% fluent in English. I was confident to speak in English when I was 15 yrs.
