A lot more discreet, I got one of these a couple of weeks ago and settled on the top of the window (not ideal) and getting the cable through the rubber grommet was very tricky. I may change it to this configuration at some point
It's at the engine rear (looking at it from the front, to your right, at the far corner nearest the firewall). Find my video on the Mondeo intake manifold and you can see the plug being disconnected at least. It is called cylinder head temp (CHT).
Well check its reading on a scan tool for a sensible number. The dash 'secret' menu shows it too. What makes you think it is faulty. For removal I don't think you'd lose much coolant because it's right at the top.
@@CraigsDIY So I am now trying to check everything that could cause excessive CO emissions to see if that is the cause. I have cleaned the EGR and also cleaned the recirculation next to the throttle valve, new spark plugs, other clean oil.. The car is still apart. and my compression is 18 Bar on all 4 cylinders, except that it uses oil. I hope of course that the piston rings or seals are not worn. But maybe with everything I do and also liquid moly engine cleaner that I'm thinking of using, maybe this will help lower the CO. my car has now passed annual inspection

Thanks
wouldn't it have been great if the Golf 6 had an acc, vcc+ and ground point just in the top tray thing
Hi, unfortunately you didn't make a video about the coolant temperature sensor. Too bad I don't know where it is. mondeo mk3. 1.8 petrol 2006?

Thanks and how i know its broke
Or not working ?
And question two if i take the sensor out than all the cooling is flooding ?

Only issue is if you get rear-ended by an aircraft. Funny bit 🙂
I am asking for new episodes with the Ford Mondeo MK3
🤞
