The fact that you are using your sewing skills to construct the sweater makes a big difference. I love sewing and I’m learning to use my knitting machine but my job still takes most of my time. I am looking forward to your 2023 projects.

How cool is it that you made everything that you are wearing?! 😊

i appreciate that you cover the construction-side of knitting and your general approach to a project like this. the final sweater looks really nice
the background music gives me flashback to my childhood growing up in bavaria :D

Besides the many skills shown to make this, I appreciate the piece appropriate background ♬ music.

Love this jumper. Turning this pattern into a cardigan would be super useful 👍🏻

What a nice sweater, I love your videos though I own a punch card machine and will never do software anything with it. What I'd like to know: How do you routinely care for your knitting machines, aside from replacing parts? It is very obvious that your machines run smoothly while many others one sees on TH-cam rattle, resist, creak and groan. With my different sewing machines I know how far to take them apart, what to oil and where to search for lint bunnies. With the knitting machine, I would like to know more apart from what the manual says: "Just dedust it, wipe it a bit with an oily cloth and send it in at the first signs of trouble."

Nicely done. When doing a FF decrease try moving the third or fourth stitch "out" over the stitches you are going to move then move the stitches in, will make a nicer finish. They attaches the shoulders on the machine for a seamless seam or pull one set of stitches through the other, knit a loose row and chain off. When I do a neckline I knit one row at main tension then transfer for the ribbing, really smooths things out.❤

if you watch the golden girls.... almost every episode there is at least 1 if not 2, machine made sweaters or cardigans. I challenge you to find one in any random episode and recreate it. xo

Great video! Love the sweater. Isn’t it funny how sometimes you have to fix details that bother you, like the pattern not lining up at the zipper, only to then cover them up wit a sweater so no one will see? But you have to do it because you KNOW it’s there…

Hello, just found this sweater video, loved it, but a question why not the shoulders alsoo with the intarsia carriage? Then you knit the on the same row.😊

Ok two things…It took me two or three videos to figure out that you were saying ribber not river. 😅
Also I’m a hand knitter but I don’t usually do large projects because I lose patience or attention. Watching you do these patterns on the machine is getting me more interested in the machine knitted side of things. ❤
