Suggested Fabric Amount Required:
Size Extra Small = 1.25m (off the roll)
Size Small = 1.5m (off the roll)
Size Medium = 1.75m (off the roll)
Size Large = 2m (off the roll)
Size Extra Large = 2.25m (off the roll)
(add or take 0.25 metres for anything larger or smaller than these sizes)

1:24 - Step 01 Measure & cut fabric
4:18 - Step 02 Sew down centre seam of matching panels
4:45 - Step 03 Join front & back sections at side & crotch seams
5:17 - Step 04 Prepare waistband
7:35 - Step 05 Add elastic into waistband section
8:57 - Step 06 Sew bottom hems and final touches

I made these with a men's t-shirt I bought at a thrift store for $2.50! Thank you -- they're so comfy :) Literally my first project in 10 years and it turned out great.

Just finally made my own version of these! I really needed some new exercise shorts after gaining weight/muscle but didnt wanna pay like 25 bucks for a single layer of fabric. Made my own perfectly fitted shorts for about 2 dollars using some super soft clearance fabric. Thanks!! Always struggled with those darn crotch pieces until now lol
i used double gauze fabric to make these and they're the best pajama shorts i've ever had

i'm not sure why this is so confusing to me, but i want this exact thing but as pants. to do that, would i simply just extend the lines on the sides? im hoping for a straight leg pant and for some reason i cant figure out how to make them lol
This is exactly what I want to do! Did you ever make the straight leg pant? I have a nice linen fabric and want to make some pants that have this exact top but have wide legs that extend to around the mid-calf.
Started the video excited but then when I saw you cutting more pieces for the front side I ran out of fabric ;-; so.. I wonder how they could have turned out :(
