Really good work, thanks for showing us the process and the gear. 9* F( -12*C) pretty darn cold, old J-Valley should feel good! If honest, most of did not want to see things go horribly wrong w/ those sticky-monsters!
It was a wee bit brisk for sure! JV was definitely warmer! Can't wait to get working on all the video I shot, 7 days of wheeling and 5 night wheeling means lots to come!
Just food for thought - I've tried using soap, talc powder, silicone spray, tireshine, WD-40, etc (mostly on motorcycles, but it should work the same). WD-40 is cheap and when you're done it dries out/the rubber absorbs the rest. It even helps breaking old beads.
Didn't have a lot of luck cold vulcanizing. But to be fair, I was to lazy to do the inside and got a few trips before it tore out. Tire store here does hot vulcanizing for $55 so I just went and had them fix her up for me 😁
And reds being non directional I was able yo hide that bad boy on the inside from here on out lol... Sickies need a little higher air pressure then the old Iroks to survive the Ole PNW I've learned haha
Thats a good deal, there is only one place here that does it, and they want a lot more than that and you're on a loong wait list! Apparently the prep and especially the warm curing time is very important! I'm gonna try 12-15psi next time I'm out, seems like 10psi is not enough for my heavy turd!
I wish I knew a guy for something like this. The price of off road tires is so high I would do anything to extend the life of them. Currently I have a side wall patch on one of mine, which is working ok, but I would have done this instead if I had a choice.
I have not, as long as it vulcanizes the rubber it should work good. Proper prep is important, and thats where it gets scary, grinding holes in your tires!
One-ton is the axle size. The front and rear axle in my rig came from "one-ton" size pickup trucks, a Ford F350 for the front axle and a Chevy 3500 for the rear!
Hey I live in Kelowna BC I need to buy some of that stuff do you think i could send some money and get that stuff sent to me? I really need it for my 46 inch baja claws
You can buy it from Busted Knuckle Offroad. Its hard to find over the counter unless youre a dealer with an account. We had to burn some favours to get some brought in thru my buddy.

@@PathmakerProductions Sounds great!
You did the thing, nice
Always wondered how that worked. Thank ya🍻
Its magical!
@PathmakerProductions no. It's chemistry. Magnets and crocheting are magic.
Tip (just the tip and just for a moment) - WD-40 along the bead when mounting and unmounting tires really helps the tire slide on and off A LOT.
I've never heard of using wd-40. I was using dishsoap in a spray bottle which was recommended to me. I'll try WD-40 next time

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING
I repaired a 6" x 1" cut in one of my tires 2 years ago and still holding
Awesome! Its amazing stuff, just need the confidence to do the proper prepwork!

You can buy this same kit of material from Busted Knuckle Offroad. The hard part is being confident enough to grind a huge hole in your tire!
No trouble to know you are in canada from that terrain. Im in NL its the same thing we have some crazy terrain that is hard on tires
Thanks for this video . Have you tried gluetread ? Just bought some haven't used it yet

Assistindo todos os vídeos aqui do Brasil, parabéns, só uma dúvida, qual o significado ou porque on ton, é o peso dos veículos?
