New Hampshire Northcoast Railroad - October 29, 1992 and August 15, 1999

Since 1986 the New Hampshire Northcoast Corporation has provided freight service on the former Boston & Maine Railroad's Conway Branch. The railroad's primary traffic is sand for Boston Sand & Gravel, quarried out of the Ossipee Aggregates pit near Route 16. In this video, Russell F. Munroe, Jr. captures gravel operations on the old B&M Conway Branch in 1992 and 1999 with the railroad's original roster of powerful EMD GP9s.
