- Welcome back to the lastest on Railroads of New Hampshire! In this episode we take a look at the Granite State’s most iconic freight railroad, New Hampshire Northcoast! Running between Ossipee, NH and Dover, NH as well as VIA Dover, NH to Boston, MA on Pan Am Railways, this class III Shortline railroad is a gem in the New England area hauling aggregate loads to Rochester, NH and Boston Sand & Gravel in Charlestown just across the Charles River in Boston, MA.
Don’t get confused by carload express! This railroad is owned by Boston Sand & Gravel! Running over the Boston & Maine former Conway Branch Ossipee to Dover then the former Boston & Maine’s Western Route mainline from Dover all the way into Boston! We cover the operations of this railroad within the state of New Hampshire!

Amazing you were able to get video of a few NHN trains; I've never been able to catch even one of these trains on video.
I've seen them before, but only when they were stationary in Dover yard.
From what I heard, it's not until after sundown and before sunrise do these trains operate between Dover and Boston.
