The webb application for Blockbench can be installed on your phone and tablet devices.You can ofcourse use many different apps for browsing files and editing addons. Back when this plugin wasn't a thing, creating The Yoshi Mod was a very tough task, especially the fact that I had almost no experience whatsoever when making addons. Now, I have some experience, but I would definitely recommend this plugin for beginner Bedrock modders.
Maybe challenge other Blockbench Users to make their own dinasour in their own design?

I love the tutorial, it was very informative and very useful, i got a lot out of it, and enjoyed watching it, honestly i might've been doing this for 4 hours, and still felt like it was just 20 minutes of me tinkering with the code and creating the creature, but I really need to ask, if you could make a tutorial on how to zip the two files together and put it into bedrock, ik you said it in the video, but for me at least it was kinda confusing, and took me a little time, so if you could make another tutorial it would be awesome, if not, i understand, Keep up the great work!
You take the behaviour pack folder, and the resource pack folder, and zip them together (they must be the first thing in the .zip, and can't be together in a folder in the zip).
Then you rename the file extension from .zip to .mcpack or .mcaddon (go with the latter). That should do it! :)

If you make new custom animations with stand-alone names, then you'd have to dig into the animation controller.
It is a subject I maybe want to touch upon in a deep dive video at some point, seeing as it can become quite extensive.
@ArtsByKev This was an amazing tutorial but I have a huge question, how do I make my mobs head look at and turn at players and things and not the whole body?
Make sure the head bone is named head.
Then in the entity, you make sure to use the head animation default provided by the game. Use the entity wizard on a base mob and it will reveal what to use!

Hey great tutorial, I am new to blockbench so this helps me understand things much better.
But I have one question tho, is it possible to load the template of a creature from a modpack into a 3d model, in entity wizard I only find the original minecraft mobs but u want to edit the model of a creature from an existing modpack
Before anything, check if the creator provides such rights in the terms of use.
Mods often package with OBJ files, so you need to convert them beteeen softwares such as Blockbench & Blender
@@ArtsByKev I'm pretty sure its ok because I'm not going to reupload it on any website just modifying the models a bit for my own use and they gave permission to customize for yourself just not reuploading it and claiming it as your own

Nice vid. Is there a way you can have the mob grab players or other mobs and do damage? I've seen a couple of mods where they have some mobs have the ability to grab other mobs to do damage.
Create a mount bone, or similar and have the player or any other mob ride it on ability use, then drop thereafter
@@ArtsByKev thanks I’m quite new to the whole making your own custom mobs. What’s the difficulty into first getting into coding mobs? Is it a bit intimidating?
The difficulty is the steep initial learning curve.
Once you figure out the basics of what kind of things code can do, then you can explore it and mix and match ideas to create new output.
This is why giving a coding answer is so difficult, since you can solve a problem in so many different and creative ways, all depending on what else you want the code to accomplish 😅

Move files, copy files and/or export a new pack and merge them.
If you have bedrock on PC, Blockbench even allows you to build onto an existing setup

Where is the flie where we put the animations and textures?
my build was 128x128 pixels and the paint was like 256x256 but when i was done creating my dinosaur the pixels i could paint over we’re very limited. 1 color pixel would take up a lot of space. is there a way to fix this without ruining my entire build?

But you should remove the “Baloonable” from the behaviour pack, because if you turn on pocket edition you can give it a baloon and it will fly 😆
And also a short tip: You can change the texture of the cube inside of the UV (Move the texture of the block around)

Hey, I'm from Brazil, and it's very difficult to find good content about blockbench in Portuguese, I have difficulty because I don't know how to do it, models, like the ones of the teeth you made, could you make a video teaching it? I gave the example of teeth but I also see it used a lot to make syrups and wings. I would really appreciate it if you could make a video about it. thanks
