- In the video "The Quest for Minecrafts God Particle" we ended on a pretty disapointing roadblock that proved the infeasibility of using a furnace array to make minecrafts most powerful XP farm. However since then technology has developed which brings back the possibility of making the god particle a viable XP source in vanilla survival. Lets see if we can finally obtain the fastest XP farm in minecraft.

@@zeta7537 I've seen Docm77 showcasing a new method. It's ridiculously simple and only requires like 5 blocks instead of a room full of rails.
@@NyergudsThat's update skipping, not update suppression. Best it can do is stop an update for a single tick, and it doesn't do the effect of keeping the block data (as far as I know)

Please give us a full tutorial this time, this is something most players could legitimately do in a survival world

The problem with making a tutorial for this is that in 1.19 update suppression requires you to build a massive machine and I don't want to do a block by block for that.

Considering that this is kind of a dupe glitch, I would like to know what you think is the fastest possible XP farm in vanilla that runs at 20 TPS, singleplayer, A: with no performance enhancing mods, B: with performance enhancing mods, on a high-end PC,
Edit : ... Which does not use any dupe glitch, and where you actually can collect the all the XP of course, no oversized farm with mini orbs that pile up ;)

But the shulker box suppression requires update suppression to get it started. How do you do the update suppression for that??
From what i figured out all of the ways in the newest versions are waaaay overcomplicated like OOMS is there a simpler way to update suppress?
You can use out of memory suppression to produce it but it's sketchy af, igna has a video on out
i think the simplest way is to simply make a suppressor in a lower version to make the shulker suppressor.
its a newly discovered bug but turns out its actually been in the game for years.

Really cool design! And can 100% be sped up in vanilla minecraft, since level 30 is all you need; no need to get the god particle, you only need 1395 experience, and this will be much faster than enderman farms (once you preload the furnaces of course)

I used to have a furnace in bedrock that would give me 1,000 levels per lever pull, but it was patched. Two years of smelting to get that thing up to that level. RIP bedrock XP furnaces.
There was a similar bug in one of the java snapshot. One streamer played their world through snapshots and somehow obtained 2 such furnaces. However, there was no such bug in full releases.

Surely if you had a device to spit out netherite pickaxes enchanted without mending to save on XP repairing the tool, you could increase the XP profit marginally. Surely.

Seeing this gave me the idea to make an afk cobblestone generator with an auto clicker but instead of having everything feed into my shulker boxes and transporting them to my super furnace to just build it above my super furnace and have the cobblestone cook while im afk mining it and to use an auto crafter to make them into stone bricks then feed those into my shulker boxes instead to save time. Big brain. With 2 unbreaking 3 netherite pickaxes i can afk for well over an hour and have enough xp generated to always be able to repair ALL of my armor and pickaxes and have a ton of xp for enchanting while still producing thousands of building materials for projects :)

Its quite easy the build in 1.18 when update suppression is still possible, however in 1.19 it becomes much, much harder.

this is a minor thing, but i believe you can make the binary counter smaller
if you initialize it to the max value minus the target value, instead of 0
then, instead of testing for a specific state, you can just listen for an overflow

You could hook up a Phase sorter to the CCE suppressor. That way you wouldn’t crash if the desync causes entityphase updates. You would loose the furnace aswell, but at least without a crash.
What is a phase sorter?
I would assume it is something that is able to check what the tick phase is, but how would something like that work?
From what we can tell the scheduled updates can be executed in several different tick phases depending on the circumstances.

would this work in 1.21 if i make the update suppressor and the glitched shulker boxes in 1.18, then go back to 1.21 and build the god particle farm in 1.21? (basically i build everything in 1.21 except for the update suppression stuff which will be in 1.18)
iirc box suppression was patched with 1.21, beyond just the creation of the boxes, along with most types of update suppression, so i dont think so
im pretty sure this would only work up to 1.20.4 or whichever version kept box update suppression
