Yes, Scottie did a good job on the possessions he was guarding Magic, but Michael was the primary defender on Magic for the vast majority of the time. All of those games and every possession played is available online, you can clearly see Michael guarding Magic for most of the time. People have gone back and looked at all those games (I myself have done so as well) and found that Michael guarded Magic 85-90% of the possessions.
