    I know it was probably frustrating listening to all the bikes rip past you while trying to make a video but I for one loved it! You are getting to review a bad @$$ bike while being at the track and listening to what I refer to as a symphony of motorcycles on the charge. Life doesn’t get much better than that!

    • @motobob
      @motobob  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Haha I probably looked a bit grumpy in the vid but I loved hearing those bikes at full gas down the straight :) That's why I left most of them in the edit - glad you enjoyed too!

      Totally agree. It added to the vid, not detracted.

    What makes me smile often is the fact that BMW s1000RR was created by tall engineers and the suzuki hayabusa was literally engineered and created by 'short people'; which is why a 6'3" tall person feels very comfortable(even at the level of doing a multi-thousand mile tour) on the BMW s1000RR whereas the same 6'3" tall person feels literally cramped on a suzuki hayabusa...

    I remember test riding one of these in 2010 and it had me literally laughing inside my lid at the performance and wondering how were they road legal! I bottled it and bought a K1300S but promised myself I’ll get one when I don’t rely on my driving licence!

    Very good review and covered the main features of the bike very well. Think the bikes in the background just added to the flavour and you could still clearly hear everything you said 👍

    Thank you for yet another excellent and informative video. I picked up my S1000 RR (M package) today. I love it. In person, I think it looks absolutely gorgeous and, in many respects, I think it looks better than my 2018 Ducati V4S which I recently sold. I used to own a 2017 RR so it will be interesting to see how the bike has improved over the past 6 years.

    • @markettradinggenius

      Spain, at high speeds have you felt any vibrations in the handlebars or footpegs on the s1000RR(M edition) ?

    • @NJLinSpain
      @NJLinSpain ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@markettradinggenius To be honest, I have only had the bike for a few days and have yet to put it through its paces. I used to have the 2017 and never found the vibrations to be much of a problem. The 2023 has a silky smooth engine and I would say you have to search to find any vibrations at any speed. They definitely do not jump out at you.

    I can't lie, I'm definitely jealous you got to ride one. The S1000RR is a bike I'm very interested in, but I'm not sure my 45 year old body could handle it. Great video and a great review.

      Please dont buy any supersport bikes which demand more committed riding, i too 45,i regret my decision buying yamaha r6,now i am using naked street bike which is more relaxed seating possition, we all get aged ao change riding styles according to our age. ADV, Naked street fighter, classics will be a better choice if you ride more than 30 minits at a time.
      My personal preference are
      Katana
      Z900
      Z900rs
      Trazor 900
      Speed twin
      GSA
      Vstrom

    One of the most beautiful bikes there is if not the best looking. Top 3 for me definitely. Just a pity it's an unreliable brand. 40% failure rate. I can't pay that amount of money for a 40% failure rate. If you research the NET, If something goes wrong, it might take you up to 10 months to get repaired under warranty, as BMW will do their best to BAIL out of it. Not a trusted brand whatsoever. a Limited Factory warranty is an excuse for any manufacturer to bail out of their responsibility. I grew up when we had Guarantees. No questions asked. Bikes got fix, but then again, I only had Yamaha and Honda. Never needed to fix anything over a span of 43 years and 5 Yami's and 2x Honda's. You want reliability, buy Japanese. PERIOD!!!

    Good looking bike except for the exhaust and the stupid wings. The global warming nuts responsible for the first. And the wings a current fad. Be glad when that dies a death. Every bit of technology you can think of. More than you would ever need on the street. Super expensive. No doubt equally expensive to run. And by the time the average bloke can afford to buy a second hand one. All the gremlins of older technology will have kicked in making ownership a frustrating and costly affair. But if you have the bickies to buy a new one. Probably a rewarding bike to ride.
