I wonder what all this fuss about scissors is. Why the fuck does anyone want scissors in a multitool? Scissors belong in a manicure set, not in multitools! In most cases, the same job can easily be done with a knife or with pincers. In multitools, scissors only take space that can be filled with much more important tools.

@@vladimirvladimirovic8989 I would rather have their great scissors than that ferro rod, most people are not spending time in the wilderness and need that and a huge majority of campers just use a lighter, they are not making TH-cam videos showing bushcraft skills.
There is more use for scissors, if I want to cut string or paracord, I can use the knife but I am more likely to use the scissors (especially the Roxon scissors which are probably the best on a multitool) and if I want to cut paper which may only be an occasional need, I will use scissors.
It's personal, but I am willing to bet that most people want a good pair of scissors, not a crappy pair, if you are going to put a crappy pair of scissors on a multitool, then I would say leave them off and put something else in their place.

Scissors make any multitool better. They're not a deal beaker but for cutting the ends of zip tips, situations where you can't use the wire cutters as snips in awkward angles and/or confined spaces and cutting gauze or ace bandages in this situation for a camping tool its adds that extra precision. Even a small pair would be great. They don't have to be massive shears. A number of camping multitools could benefit from having scissors just for First Aid capabilities.

@@vladimirvladimirovic8989 Disagree. I like having scissors. I find scissors more adept at cutting in confine spaces and one has less need to hold onto the item as you pull the knife blade across what you are wanting to cut. I'd rather have scissors than many of the other tools found on multitools that I seldom or never use, i.e. awls, can/bottle openers, saws, etc. I'm in a suburban environment and don't have much need for saws, fire starters, etc.
