I picked up the Roxon Phantom last week after a pretty long search. $50 at Amazon. All the features same except the fire starter includes T6-T10, Phillips Head, etc stored in the handle and replacible knife blades. Very happy with the purchase.

I never thought I would be a multitool guy, but this Victorinox is really growing on me. It's legit useful and very easy to EDC in my pocket.
The Roxon is just a massive value. Well made and affordable...

Roxon is bringing it. If you want scissors instead of the pliers, the KS2 Elite has similar tools and steel.

I had my eyes on Roxon for a while now, especially the S802S. The interchangeable blade system is pretty dang cool and I'm actually surprised that they didn't incorporate it into the S803E. Now I'm actually wondering if their other blades would still fit on the S803E if you were to unscrew the scale since they appear to be pretty much the exact same size as the D2 blade the S803E comes with.

The D2 blade Elite has 4 small implements instead of the 3 on the older version!!! 3D philips and Awl pretty much everyting is new design on the outside. Roxon is really bad at marketing, because the Elite is a big upgrade.

Yeah, it does seem like they took a lot of the customer feedback, and put some though and improvements into the new Elite model.
I have been carrying the Vic Spirit X as my daily EDC, but I am gonna keep my eye on Roxon and see what new models they come up with. I genuinely like this tool.

honestly a d2 blade alone is hard to get for 50$ not to mention the rest so it seems like a steal. How is it after few days? Have you maybe had a chance to also try Bibury or Daicamping tools as well?

@@SquireSCA Oh wow you pulled the trigger! Having said that the consensus in the multi-tool world is that the Swiss Tools are the best, better than Leatherman, so your money was well spent. Well I guess you already know how good Victorinox is. The comment you replied to mentioned the Swiss+Tech which is not made or even designed in Switzerland. They are pretty inexpensive made in China multitools. I think you did the right thing by splurging on a good if expensive multitool, rather than buying lots of cheaper ones.
