Screw the banks. I did something similar, and now have a modern, well-insulated house, 300mbit internet, solar panels and my own water source. NO DEBT.
I run 100% on solar, too, here in the USA, and own my own tiny house (but not the land). I love having no housing (or car, for that matter) debt, and not paying for electricity! I only pay for heating and cooking propane, and the water and septic are provided by the landlord in my modest "rent".
I'm looking forward to visiting Bulgaria and looking for a home. I'm in the USA, and own a "tiny house", but lease my land. I'm looking for land, and prices have skyrocketed, thanks to big developers buying up big lots, then putting "HOA" fees and building requirements/restrictions on them! No way I'll pay an HOA fee on top of my (high) taxes, and be forced into building a 2000 sq foot house that I don't need! Bulgaria has much potential, and some really beautiful country homes. I just hope they don't abandon their own currency, and switch over to the Euro. Prices will skyrocket, and they'll be forced to abide by Brussel's fascistic rules!
@sever8351 You dont know what you are talking about, yea salory are less here in Bulgaria, but we dont pay with crab Euro's - yet lol, healthcare in Bg are ok, not that bad as you say, EVERYTHING here in bg are for sure much cheaper than Spain/Germany/Italy/Greece and so on.

Respect for you guys ! My wife is English and i took her in Bulgaria on holiday the first year we married. At first she was a bit overwhelmed by everything, but in 2 weeks time she didn't wanted to come back anymore in UK ! She realized life there is simple and slow paced, and the Gouverment doesn't try to ruin your life by putting taxes upon taxes for everything you own,and make your life more miserable and intolerable every year ! So now we got a house there, and we move this year in the summer! I don't understand why English people gave up on their freedom in UK and praise the flag while they can bearly pay their way thru life while the rich class are shooting pheasants for sport ! Yeh,I have no words. But I'm happy I convinced my wife without words to join me in a better side of the world !

That is a pretty awful, naff wardrobe. Has he never heard of antique furniture? There's tonnes of it in the UK and going cheap now too. Lasts a lifetime.

Nice voice app. Why is this story everywhere? You are not saving 300,000 pounds by moving to an old graveyard in a former Russian satellite state. You are not saving anything if you didn't have the money in the first place. These villages are former gulags and mass graves are everywhere. They can get nasty and threaten with guns.
@@kalinxristov1654 sometimes truth is more horrific than fiction. Are you denying that there were concentration camps across the country? Yes you are. I'm glad you find mass graves so hilarious.
@@Atom12-o6h The camp in Bulgaria is one and it was located on the island of Belene. You can read about it on Wikipedia. After the Soviet occupation in 1944, 30,000 people inconvenient to the new Soviet power were killed. However, this happened all over Eastern Europe. And to be even more precise, the camps themselves were invented by the British and were used for self-dealing with the Boers in South Africa. There were also camps on the territory of Great Britain. Or you don't know? It is not good to live with clichés. I can also tell you about the camps created by Germans, French, Italians, not to mention Belgians. It's hard for me to focus though because I'm constantly jumping over femurs and skulls while typing. A good and successful day.
@@kalinxristov1654 I was actually referring to the many concentration camps that were in operation from around 1944 ish to around 1989 ish across Bulgaria. Not only Belene. However details can be difficult to find when it is consistently covered up. Yet I do have evidence. Also evidence of mass graves being covered up. It certainly does explain why there are so many abandoned houses. I have done my research and it isn't a case of comparing atrocities between Britain and Bulgaria, or anywhere else. It is about discovering things that are being covered up. And personally, I hate being lied to and treated like I am stupid.
This Teddy bear doesn't actually make a difference between a luxury mansion, a regular house and an abandoned old village house. IQ isn't that great in the West I reckon...
Bulgaria is a very clean country. I would say an order of magnitude cleaner than the "streets of London" or God forbids the streets of Paris. From what you have written I immediately conclude that you have never been to Bulgaria. Also this house is an abandoned house in the province, not a mansion. Mansions in Bulgarian cities are not necessarily affordable for any Brit (no offence, that is just a fact; you are not one of those idiots who think that you can buy a mansion in Bulgaria with a British salary as a worker in a coffee shop, right. )

Are you sure that building is structurally sound?
All i see is good land and a lot of potential if you are not afraid of work which by the way make your life meaningful. I live here.
Do you own the rights to this video?
How can you move over when the uk isn’t in the eu ?
The way people have done it before the EU existed and after it crumbles .
@simeondunev4890 the only thing that keeps on crumbling is the retarded brexitland
I live in Romania (up in the mountains) and I applied for a resident visa. I have to renew it every 5 years or so? No sweat.

Pretty colorful fantasy, have you tried writing horror novels?
Where do you come up with these stuff? Its genuinely hilarious

I'd rather live on the streets of London than live in a mansion in Bulgaria. Awful place.
You mean Londonistan? 🤣 What Christian and British is left in Britain? It seriously look like an Asian Muslim country
Mate that's not a mansion, that's a normal house that needs work. The thing with houses is there is always something to do on them
