You usually don't want to go viral. I had a viral video this summer and most of the people watching were quite aggressive and rude, not my usual audience who are smart, thoughtful and honestly really knowledgeable about my niche. None of those people who saw my viral video are going to buy my products or support my channel. I just made a few extra bucks from TH-cam ad revenue, but that's not reliable, reproducible or a long-term solution for being a content creator these days. Just focus on really serving your audience and helping them. That's how you not only make it as a creative, but also how you enjoy doing it and don't burn out cos you're trying to go viral all the time.
I am OBSESSED with your videos at the min. Absolutely addicted, spent the full weekend binge watching all your content on both channel. You make seriously addictive content which is a very good thing!
Man, until a year ago I was getting 10k views so easily, now I gotta fight :) Although what you said is extremely true, and your tips are very good, there are some external factors like market saturation, better competition, getting out of your niche, and maybe some shadowbanning. Anyway, I'll get back on track, but in the meantime much love to your work!
We booked my dad into a fancy restaurant for his 50th and when he went to order a coke they asked if Pepsi was okay and he moved 30 people to the restaurant across the road where they had coke
Well said James!
This channel is a goldmine for creators. Thanks for another banger, mate 🫡
smart guy
It's like you know him personally

THEY SAY: When the comments go to shit TH-cam is pumping your content to a cold audience. (its deemed good)

Many thanks. Just getting off the ground here so helpful.
Any British cultural stuff around success you think is relevant?
Any general tips for increasing average view duration, with regards to scripting and storytelling?
Mate this content is unreal, moving to aus next week youve played a massive part in this decision
Great information but that oral part had me dying 😂
Can you make a video about running a podcast as a business?
