I love making videos, I know about creating a personal brand but I have no business to sell so what do I do?

People need to stop believing the lie that the average Australian is on 100k a year. We just have more millionaires and billionaires than ever thanks to the transfer of wealth during Covid. The number is closer to 70k a year, and make no mistake about it, life so to speak has never been more easy or convenient, but Australians have never been poorer than they are right now.

I couldn't agree more, views from business owners that NEED your help are so much more important and profitable than views from the average joe doom scrolling. I was running B2B ads for myself to get clients a year ago, then one day I just posted all I knew about marketing towards my ideal clients giving them away all I know and up until not around 15 000 views, 40 clients later going into 2025 with new content plan :D Big fish in small pond > Small fish in big pond

I started my channel to ventbox my unemployment journey in the UK. its brutally honest, but what i like about it is that I can help others going through my experiences (eventually). A form of egoistic altruism I guess? I don't know how il monetise that. the key for me is authentic honesty. Im sick of the lack of it. But i will never take advantage of people for that. I think that's the problem with a lot of sales people on TH-cam. Plus my videos suck and I'm just learning the editing which is a nightmare :D. situation here is bad... I thought I was subbed but it must of been your other channel!

I’m now at the point where I know my limitations and am not posting with the expectation of results but just to express my creative side and be at least part creator rather than 100% consumer James is spitting truths here, always been 50/50 on him but he’s right

100% agree with this, using YT to generate leads for my agency was a big lightbulb moment for me BUT a couple of years in so far I’ve been working pretty hard on it but the juice hasn’t been worth the squeeze… However I’ve spoken with lots of people who have made it work so 🤞 2025 is the year…

This is a great Point, Alex Hormozi did a video similar to this explaining that for business results more views are irrelevant if they're not from the right people.

I have followed your content for years mate, attended one of your courses in Brisbane and bought your books. I was a PT for a group franchise and got more and more interested in the growth and development of gyms. I just changed jobs (that’s right, job, not starting a business for myself) into that part of the fitness industry and it was brought in some part by following your content and advice and doing things that interest me. I don’t really make my own content. I don’t really use my own social media to promote myself to get business / clients and yet I have listened to and used advice from you to structure some career decisions I’ve made. All of this is a round-about way of saying that what you put out has affected people in a positive way potentially even in ways you didn’t intend. And thanks for it!

I completely agree with your content . The old era of posting for views is gone. Now its the time of building trust & catering a specific audience by solving specific problems. But dont you think, you need to go viral at times so that your name is also put out there at times?
