Man I have to go to Japan!
Heyy! Love your video! I am curious as to which station did you get off at to get to this place and was it the JR subway line?
thanks for watching! I don't remember the station name or line, since this was a while ago. but it was the very first station from the airport. the station in the airport had pretty easy to understand maps 😊
Thanks for sharing did you buy JR pass or individual ticket when you go outside?
I purchased an individual round trip ticket, for relatively cheap. my apologies, I don't remember many details about the various options at the station 🤣 this was a few months ago. I do remember the pricing wasn't bad for the various options.
Did you exchange currencies at the airport? If so how much do you think is enough for similar to your journey? I have a 10 hrs layover in Narita.
thanks for watching 😊
I withdrew cash from an ATM at the airport.
I have a Charles Schwab investor checking ATM card (no ATM fees and no foreign transaction fees) i always remind people that if you use an ATM they'll offer to do a conversion fee via the ATM - but they always overcharge you - your bank usually won't charge as much, or at all depending on your bank.
if you would prefer to use a currency exchange service I would recommend doing it at the airport. it might be faster than trying to find a convenient one in Narita.
I spent around $32 USD (including: locker at the airport, round trip train ticket, sushi, 1 saki, ramen and 1 beer). maybe take out a little more cash if you plan on buying souvenirs! have fun!
