At 19:25 time, it blew me away to see the Grey Nitto /EVO Jeep I purchased this year 2021! Wow so cool to see the history, to whoever sold it, thank you and it has a nice new home! I complimented by adding to the awesome build with new EVO PRO long arms, Falcon 3.3, Nemesis front inner fender liners, EVO Swing out carrier/ EVO corner armor, ARB Twin Air, and Clayton Skid plates. Great additions to this special Jeep! NICE start to a day! It's been back to Moab BTW and so much fun! Headed back to Moab in MAY 2022! Would love to add a pic! Wish we could do the Rubicon trail to one day!

Love watching your videos!!!! Watching Moby scale that rock face at 29:20 was impressive. I am sure it had a little to do with the driver too :). The Rubicon is a bucket list trail but my XJ will have to be trailered coming from Dallas, TX area.
Memories when I was younger with my brother in law in his 53 Willy’s stock height 15” tires no lockers going thru there see some of it has changed a little,absolutely love it there remember when him an frank thru me in the lake early am in my sleeping bag 😂😂😂😂😂 thanks for taking us along cool stuff as always be safe 👍👍

Mel is always the one under a vehicle to get going or off the trail. To see him with one of his own broken and thinking in overdrive how to keep going....you can see the releaf when he heard about that part....Talk about scoring it big time in Mel's gold book...LOL You with the tools and the right parts just kept the whole group going. Sad it's the last JKX but then it's the new JLX and soon to be JTX.
LOL - this is true. The big white Jeep you see on the title screen was a manual before we swapped in a V8. Fortunately, my wife and I grew up wheeling manuals but it's still a challenge, especially when you're trying not to burn out the clutch.

Ok, I know this makes me look bad, but I had no idea that besides being an incredible videographer Cindy could "drive" (read 'rock crawl') with such skill!
I did not think you could top some of the older videos. Such as Keeping it tight and some of the others. This is number one in my book. Plus Moby makes it look super easy. I may be a little bias tho. Cindy made that look easy.
Seems like your videos just keep getting better and better. Your wife drives just as good as you. Also wonderful that your both switch up driving that way you both get time behind the wheel and stay proficient. Best Rubicon video I have seen. I am always amazed there aren't more breakdowns given those steel on rock sounds. What was the tire size on most of those vehicles, 37 or 40?

What an awesome trail I live in California and still have not done this trail. It’s definitely on the to do list before I leave here. I know you go up there a lot more often than most people, but does it ever get old?
The trail is different every year so you're never really running the same trail each time you do it. Also, we always make it into a camping trip and for that, it's always a good time :)
Eddie...you like doing the Rubicon Trail with people who have never done it. Well then i'll be sending you an email in a few years to meet up and do the the Rubicon. I know we'll have about 6 in our group. We are making plans to do in about 4yrs. We are planing well ahead of time to make everyone is ready for the adventure and experience of a lifetime. Hopefully you'll be up for leading us and showing us a time we'll never forget. You in???
@@wayalife Just finished watching the video. That's the adventure I'm looking for. Living in Michigan the only decent place for rocks really, is Drummond Island. You all were out here 7yrs ish ago....so you know. I've only had my jeep for just under 2yrs so upgrades and all will take some time so that's why 4yrs or so. The ultimate plan is to wheel the Rubicon Trail and then head back home with trails along the way and making a stop in Moab for EJS. Well that's the plan. My event will posted months in advance giving all who want to join plenty of time to prep. Thanks for the response. Have a great day and hope to see YOU on the trail
Just did the Rubicon 2 weeks ago. 2003 GX470 (Icon 3” lift , dual locked , 35’s). Only broke my steering rack but I made it. Wish I was SAS’d but IFS will do

Actually, Moby isn't a manual anymore. We changed the transmission to a 6L80 when we did the LS swap. But yes, she is a great driver. :)

Driving manual is an entirely different ball game! I’m still adjusting to mine but slowly getting the hang of it. One day I’ll conquer the rubicon

When you running low tire PSI and going over the rocks, you sidewall failures or is that pretty rare? Great video and camera work, thanks for posting.
