When I was a kid and first started liking Jeeps, they had 6 in. lifts and 35 in. tires. There was no way those Jeeps could have done what you did on this video. The new Jeeps and Gladiators are so amazing and are capable of such insane things. Ya just gotta love them. ;-) another GREAT video
I live in Florida now but I grew up in that area. Some of the best wheeling around. I love New England. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you!
Gladiator did awesome! Tough looking trail !! Very similar to our trails in PNW. Glad you escaped with no body damage. We always say “ it’s a Jeep, this is why we have it” . However, sheet metal damage still stings! Great video you two! ❤️🐞
Dude in the Skyjacker rig looks like he is running too much air pressure. The driver in the Synergy rig knows what’s up. His tires were practically giving the rocks hugs.
Yeah, he may have been running a bit too much air for the trail but more than anything, those tires weren't hooking up at all. Synergy was running their tires so low because they had less than 50% tread and were all terrains. Problem with going down too low is that you loose height/ground clearance as well.
She's flattered you would say as much especially being that our primary camera went on the fritz from all the rain the previous day and had to film on this on our iPhone. LOL
Another great video. The wheeling look super fun! And you guys are having a blast! I wish I had the means to join big events like this. At least it makes me happy being able to watch it. Amazing videography, really helps me be a part of the experience with you two. Thank you!
Wow those boulders look like they were covered in grease the way everyone was slipping! Great job on EVO with that Gladiator build, such an awesome rig!!
Another great series of videos. Trip looks like a blast. You guys are hitting it hard. Your JL looks like it is working great. Great build by Mel @ EVO Offroad.
Couldn't agree more. Synergy was running all terrain tires and they still hooked up way better than Skyjackers Milestar Patagonia mud terrains. Seeing is believing and you just can't make this stuff up.
I have to say that looks super fun, but I can also see wheeling a Gladiator takes more skill and you definitely have the skills. It just seemed like the JL’s didn’t struggle as much. But hey I’m all for a challenge.
No lie, it took a lot of effort to wheel the Gladiator where the JL's just walked up a lot of the stuff you see. But, I think we've proven that it can be done :)
Wow!! Each video is better than the previous one. Another beautiful place, beautiful Jeeps (all of them) and incredible the ability to overcome obstacles and the skill of drivers. I'm not tired of thanking you for what you make us enjoy with your videos. Many thanks Cindy and Eddie. P.S. I'm sorry for the breakdown of JL, a shame.
Well, we really do appreciate it. We love what we do and hope that we can share it with others like you. It always makes us happy to know that people like yourself enjoy our videos.
So, we've been running Dynatrac for years and decided to give these Dana UD60 axles a test and I must say, so far, they've really impressed the hell out of me. It's one thing to "talk" about how strong an axle is and it's another to "show" how strong it is.
Just bought a 2012 Rubicon JK. Would love to go on one of these adventures with you guys. Looks like so much fun! Wyoming trails are fun, but not much like this around here.
How many licks to get to the middle of an Ultimate Dana 60? They took numerous hits! No damage? Looked like gnarly trails! Another great video! Very beautiful scenery. Never been to the northeast.
Pretty good tire comparison there. Hard to tell without being there I guess, but it sure looked like the Trail Grapplers are much better in the wet than those Patagonias.
The Milestar Patagonia mud terrain tires were embarrassing to watch. They were absolutely horrible out on these trails and as you can clearly see, offered little to no traction what so ever. The Nitto Ridge Grapplers that a couple of the Jeeps were running such as Synergy did a MUCH better job of gripping and this in spite of the fact that they're all terrain tires.
Funny thing about this video is you guys didn't even touch any if the hard trails lol these are all the easiest trails field and forest offers. Such a great place to wheel and the owners Bob and liza are amazing people.

Oh yeah, once we get to wherever it is we're staying for the night, most of us spend some time going over our rigs to do at least a visual inspection. As far as the axles go, the Dana UD60's have proven themselves to be really tough!
Nah. No need for Portals. Besides, the gear reduction on them is more than I'd want and you'd have speed sensor issues. Jeep tried playing around with it back on the Might FC concept build and it was a disappointment.
I have a ZR2 and that Gladiator is very impressive, what size tires? That's the big short coming on the ZR2, 31" stock and much work to get 35's to fit and 37's break shit.
We all felt bad for Skyjacker. In spite of having a Hellcat, their Milestar Patagonia tires wouldn't hook up for anything. Horrible mud terrain tire that offered little to no traction. The all terrain Ridge Grapplers that some of the Jeeps were running did a much better job.
I guess we all have our own idea of what "phenomenal" is. There were 3 guys running Patagonia's on this trip and none were singing praises of any kind for them. Also, I think you need to watch the video again. For the most part, Skyjackers Patagonias were NOT caked up especially once he got his tires spinning. Also, he had just as much trouble when we were running Ma Bell and there was definitely no mud caked up in his tread th-cam.com/video/3U8zMl7byLM/w-d-xo.html . From what we could see, they just sucked and wouldn't hook up for anything. Of course, this is to say nothing about how poorly they balance, how badly they cup and how quickly they wear out. These are all things that the owners were complaining about.
Like I said, none of the guys running Patagonias on this trip had ANYTHING good to say about them. Also, "don't do too bad" is a far cry from "phenomenal" or at least, in my opinion. For my purposes, I live in an area that's essentially a desert but does gets snow and ice in the winter and there's no way I'd want to run a set in those conditions.
What do you do with your rear license plate? Is it just bolted to your bed rack out back? I didn’t see it when you were on the trails. I have a roller mount for my front plate, but gotta do something with the rear

Sorry, we weren't at PSC to cover their build. I can tell you though that they are running an EVO bolt-on coilover kit, Dana UD60's and 40" Nitto Trail Grapplers.
LOL - far from broken. Loose only because our tires rubbed up against them and pulled the snap pins out. I simply pushed them back in and all was good. Just need to do a bit more trimming is all :)

Hopefully, you'll be able to afford one sooner than that.
