There will be NEVER democracy in Pakistan..whatever you do. This is karma. There is a curse. From Bangladesh. The day they didn't respect democratic results of 1971 elections..democracy was buried..no one can revive. RIP democracy.

“I am the girl who spends hours huddled in a corner of a library, trying to find what you love the most about Marlowe, just so I can write you a poem worthy of Shakespeare. I've made books my lovers, hours my enemies and you the only story.”

" West Pakistan mein 3 percent non Muslim the" ..why Pakistanis propagate this false narrative.. please refer to 1941 census conducted under British rule..the Hindu and Sikh population was around 30-35: percent in in almost all districts of Punjab and Sindh...

    Hlo brother
    System not Matter people matter
If Peoples are Corrupt inside the system then No System(Islamic or secular) Work
If you Said Secular is a Key Of Success then Why Africa, India (Ground level)etc not successful.
People matter if Pakistan become secular Nothing change except System name Because People are Corrupt inside the system
So Focus on people not System if Pakistani Peoples become Honest U Automatically see change
    Thanku

Wow ! Awesome podcasts, 1 hour 22 minutes of gripping talk . Full of logic, agreeable arguments and both the guys matched each other’s energy level . I heard professor Taimur for more than 50 hours on TH-cam! A very talented and a classic academician.
Nevertheless like any other leftist or communist from any part of the world. His diagnosis of current economic disaster and predictions of hopeless situation in future also if remedial actions aren’t taken , is perfect, wonderful and eye opening for one and all in Pakistan or other developmental societies across the world.
Right now the need is to create awareness on these issues beyond political rhetorics and electoral maneuvers. He is right when he says that people should hit the streets in massive numbers without being lead by political entities. Chattar khaana band karnaa hi padega . Best wishes for May Day🎉🎉

You are just too optimistic I believe Dr Taimur. Pakistanis in particular and South Asians in general have never been able to do any revolutionary things period. It is not in the DNA of you Punjabis to revolt against the ruler. Please accept it.

    • @Taimur_Laal
      @Taimur_Laal  ปีที่แล้ว +5

I like baghawat. I own it. Because why should not be not be Baghi against a horrible system. To rebel is just.
Only fuddy duddies are scared of the word baghawat because they are scared of a baghawat against the present system. So they prefer "independence" because it implies that that struggle ended with 1947. Whereas I consider it just one phase in our rebellion against capitalism.

Recommendations are only minority-centric, and there is no viable way given to tackle the menace of fragile democracy. Another lecture is needed to show how democracy can be strengthened.
