Hey I just got a 65 and it was a three speed automatic. It now has a four speed manual. With the original rearend. Is that bad. Should I put a three speed back in it. I've only had it go down the road about 45 so far and the rpms seem to be pretty high.
Not sure what trans the 3 speed was? The factory trans was a 2 speed. In either case the top gear should be a 1 to 1 ratio. The 4 speed manual should also be 1 to 1 in 4th gear. I see no problem.

You have a lot of Rudy in A/f flush it a couple more times. Old anti freeze is green tinted yours was rust red. Good luck
