Looking forward to more on this restoration, I have a 66 in similar condition except I haven't started it yet. I missed the e-brake repair, mine pulls it doesn't latch, lots of similarities in repairs needed. Thank you both for videoing your progress.
Really enjoying these videos. Keep em coming. My dad has a 67 that is in really good condition. He bought it a few years back without a title from California. He said he'd sell it to me for 4000 dollars. That a steal. He bought it and never even drive it. One thing is it is a stick but the stick is under your right leg. And is very uncomfortable to shift. Someone before did this to it.
Thank You for your comment. It might take a little work but you should be able to move that shifter where ever you want. If the van was originally stick it was on the column and look at the linkage to get it there! Also with the right shifter you could bend it and move the ball to a better location.
Keep at it. Don’t give up. Love to see the progress no matter how the long the project takes. Can’t wait to see the final product. Are you turning it into a camper van or a hauler?
We got side tracked and it is sitting in my garage. Bobbi has gotten married and bought two more 1965 vans. At some point in time we will get started again. Thanks for watching!
We have not done very much in the last year. The paint and body work keeps getting more expensive. Bob has a total of "3" of these vans now but her focus is on getting married and building a house. I will talk to her on doing an update. Thank You for watching. Sincerely, Richard Goodman
Hi, we like your project. We are from the Netherlands and just bought a 1970 sportsvan. Keep it up.
Thank You, So much fun to work with my daughter!
Redoing a 65 and followed a few of your videos to help me do a few things on mine. Thank ya
Its not the destination, its the journey... Enjoy your time together.

I had no idea there were so many mysteries hiding in old cars!!
It looks like you're off to a good start! I used to love these old Chevy's. Best of luck to you!

We are just outside Savannah, GA TKS for the note!
So, did you ever get someone to do the bodywork? Is this project on hold?

@RichardGoodman Congtratulations Bobbie!
Do it yourself! Paint and body on that van will run you past $10,000 if you go with a pro.
We are thinking about it!!
@@RichardGoodman There's a lot of great body and paint tutorials on TH-cam. That's how I learned how to do my 1964 VW bug. It came out fantastic!
