My wife loved this song as she did things her way, i had this played at her funeral, she woulkd have liked that, RIP my darling, we will meeet again.
You have a gift. Anyone can listen to music, but you show what it is to "feel" music.
They don't make them like they used to. Frank Sinatra was such a smooth crooner. This is before auto tuning. Artists had to be really able to sing. And the lyrics were clean, romantic & really meant something. He has a huge library of great songs. Some of my favorites are "Fly Me To The Moon", "New York, New York", "Strangers In The Night", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "That's Life", "My Kind Of Town", "Summer Wind" etc. And he did a duet with his daughter Nancy called "Something Stupid" in 1967.
You should hear the duet he did with Elvis. He would sing a peace of heartbreak hotel and Elvis would sing Witchcraft. It was awesome!
Frank is not a crooner though! That’s more of bing . Frank is a vocalist !
the world we knew and my way of life
For your information. This song was written for him, and about him. He really did it his way. It was written by Paul Anka.
French song!
@@jean-pierrebarbisan1502 Yes, the song My Way copied the music from Comme d'habitude but completely changed the words to specifically match with Frank Sinatra's strong character.
@@DannoGames-xz2vl I agree.
Fun fact: frank didn’t like my way because he thought it was self-serving
@@NINJAVRGT True, he did dislike it. His fans loved it and so he sang it and I expect he made a few bucks from it; I recently saw a TH-cam video with Frank singing it to a live audience. His performance with that song was outstanding.
Great reaction Sarah! This song has a special place in my heart since it was one of my dad’s favorites. I played it for him while he was in the hospital. He was pretty out of due to the morphine drip, but I like to think that he heard Frank’s every word. My dad passed later that night. ❤
Great reaction. I had the pleasure to see him live in Atlanta, Georgia in one of his last tours. He was quite old and had huge monitors so he could read the words of the songs. His emcee of the show was the comedian Don Rickles , wow he still had the voice and it was a great show. He was a member of the famous 'Rat Pack'.
Yes, Miss Sarah, Frank Sinatra was the original singer of this. He had quite a voice. He could sing the phone book and it would be beautiful.
His daughter, Nancy Sinatra tried her hand at singing for several years, but never had the success her dad had. But if you want a fun song to watch and listen to, try Nancy Sinatra's "These Boots are Made for Walking." It's a fun look at fhe 60's ...lyricis, the dancing and go-go boots and all.
This was a wonderfully beautiful reaction, Miss Sarah. Thank you!
no, it's a french song , witting by Gilles Thibault and Claude François , composed by Jacques Revaux , 1967.
See Wikipédia .

Perfection, power- SInatra !! Chills
great reaction! I read that Sinatra recorded My Way in one take....perfection on the first try.
Thank you young lady for your videos, i am 66yrs old and watch your reactions on songs,, thank you thank you ,
Marvelous! Love this. Goosebumps!! 😊
Sinatra was my mother's favorite singer and he was over 50 when he recorded this song. He just kept going years and years afterward with that fabulous voice. My 2 favorite Christmas albums are by him, some sultry, dreamy, and some loaded with fun. One of his best friends was Sammy Davis, Jr. who recorded "What Kind of Fool Am I" which is the best version of the song, in my opinion. I'd give it a listen when you get the chance. They were both part of "The Rat Pack" which were a group of entertainers who were close, close friends. When they got together to entertain in Vegas or on TV it was like a room full of crazies. They were so darned funny. Anyway, thank you for being of part of bringing back the legacies of those greats of yesterday.
Awww frank touched your heart
Thank you for being so dear. Happy New Year to You.
Sinatra é chamado de a voz
Check out his album "In the wee small hours" its Amazing.
2 people make this a great song. Frank Sinatra with his voice. Nelson Riddle with his musical orchestrations.
French song!
Frank Sinatra “it was a very good year” is an even more soul touching performance from the same time. Remarkably the version available to react to on you tube is a video recording of him singing the actual studio version and the most chilling thing is his incredible expressions and mannerisms he displays during the performance. Thank you for the lovely reaction!
An all time greatest song by one the best singers ever.
The ultimate career ending mic drop song. Beat that, world! What a star.
How many people know that this is a cover. Of a French language song.
This song was written by Paul Anka and absolutely mastered by the "Chairman of the Board" as Frank Sinatra was known, or "Ol Blue Eyes" or very simply..."The Voice".
it's a french song .
This song is forbidden in the Philippines karaoke its known as the death song google it
He was the best ❤
Please don’t take this wrong, you are beautiful, even sublime, when your move to tears…… Thank you for sharing!
Welcome back sunshine!
I enjoy watching your reaction videos to music. I can tell you are a person who feels the music. So you must listen to Ella Fitzgerald who was an American jazz singer, sometimes referred to as the "First Lady of Song", "Queen of Jazz", and "Lady Ella". The same time period as this Frank Sinatra video. You must watch this video of her performing "Summertime" Ella Fitzgerald - Summertime (1968)in Berlin, th-cam.com/video/u2bigf337aU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jgL_5rFVn03FQ2Vi Be a great reaction video.
I've seen metalheads cry at the end of this
Extremely powerful song
frank Sinatra di famiglia emigrata ITALIANA!!!! (SICILIANA) !!!!!
"To say the things he truly feels, and not the words of one who kneels". A poignant line. The Chairman of the Board.
Paul Anka wrote that song
no , it's a french song
A great song and a great singer..... a mix made in heaven!
That was my mother's favorite song yeah she loved all of old school music
😊
My nephew is a priest and he hates this song. He hears it at every second funeral he attends.
If you listen to live version in 70s you could have a heartbreak! So, stop here! 😍
Youve got such wonderful skin. Its very distracting!!
Sarah, please react to Angelina’s rendition of this song. As you know by now, and at this point, in her very young 18 years, she has done things her way. And that is why she’s Angelina Jordan. Please check it out.
hi🙂missed you, here from Paris
„Ol‘ blue eyes“ at his best! We miss the era of crooners like him!
Hi Sarah, pls check out Vanny Vabiola’s cover of My Way which me blew me away. Trust me you won’t regret. cheers.
This song was written by Paul Anka for Frank Sinatra who also recorded it. Well worth a listen.😊🎶
Miss Sarah, you have some of the best reaction videos on TH-cam. I enjoyed your reaction to Frank.
The best singer .... in my humble opinion.

🇮🇹italiano
Come almeno un quarto dei genii nel mondo
Check out Frank Sinatra Strangers in the night!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Writen mostly by the great Paul Amker
Softest landing in the history of music
This song was written for him, and about his way of Life. And the way he lived his life.By Paul Anka
There aren't any now, but in the past popular music had some GREAT voices, and Frank's was the greatest of them all in my opinion. Those who witnessed both arrivals say Sinatra Mania was every bit as intense as Beatlemania, if not moreso. It's not just his voice, it's his way of phrasing the lines to bring out their true meanings, a trait i identified for myself before i ever heard or read others commenting on the same. Check out his other songs, you'll be richly rewarded.
...and not the words of one who kneels.
Oh Sarah, I'm Just arriving from your reaction to ABBA's "The Winner Takes it All" (where I left a comment as well) to this reaction of yours -- and it again is so warm and understanding. Just beautiful... Thank you.
Love from Germany, and have a great and happy new year
Dovresti ascoltare MINA 🔝🇮🇹
Paul Anka wrote this magnificent song!!
If you have a place for listening, please check out Aztec Camera's songs "Stray" or "Nottinghill Blues."
Thanks. Happy New Year
This was originally a French song which was a big hit for star Claude François. Music by Jaques Revaux. Paul Anka rewrote the lyrics for the English version.
To me this is the best version, with the soft ending rather than the big operatic finish. Frank actually did not like the song because he thought it was too self serving, self centered...but he had a big hit out of it, and always did it for the fans in concert. My dad always sang this around the house, incomplete. Brother and I would chuckle, "there he goes again." now, they are both gone, also mother, so wish I could hear him sing it again, and hear my younger brother snicker. I sing in senior homes and always include this song in memory of dad.
It's a French song, comme d'habitude
Da Chairman Of Da Board Baby.
Ma...NON LO CONOSCEVA?????😳😳😳
Elvis and Frank tied on making it their own. Both outstanding. Truly, it depends on what state of mind you are in when listening.
both Frank Sinatra 's parents were italians so we could be proud and say that there was italian blood in one of the best singers ever
wonderfully beautiful reaction, Sarah. Thank you! you feel music.
Beautiful reaction my sister. I cried with you😢😂
I remember Elvis recorded this song, shortly before his death.
Frank Sinatra, simply The Voice.
Nothing more to say.
enjoyed your reaction to the greatest male voice of all time.
Your reaction is beautiful. Sinatra was the best
You are lovely! Subscribed.
Paul Anka wrote this song for Frank Sinatra. This would go on to be Frank Sinatra’s signature song.
no , it's a french song
Great reaction. Such an iconic singer and actor.
With all the live options. 😊
And he did do it all his way.
Очень ❤
Frank did it his way.
Beautiful reaction ❤️
Perfect
❤
🤘🤘😆😆🤘🤘
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bing Crosby was better. Frank got to the top using trickery. He didn’t deserve it, the fame he got. In Crosby have the better voice. I do like “Fly Me to the Moon” though
That’s an opinion
