I've been keeping an eye out for sales, or get this one on clearance when the Superblast 2 comes out. That price is bonkers. You could get an Adios Pro 3 and Boston 11 for basically the same cost, given Adidas' recent sales.

Lol, looks like we have the same obsession for shoes or we are trying to find the perfect shoe. I just ran with them today (my 4th run with them) 8mi total with a 30 min fartlek in between and I’m in love with them.

as much as I agree with you and anyone this is an expensive shoe. But is it expensive because it is daily trainer. I think Asics has found a niche spot in the market

I live and have stayed at that hotel here in Hawaii. Came here for the Superblast review. Is it as good as the Endorphin Speed 1? It is sold out online.

I have never tried the Saucony Speed 1. Only the 2 and 3. In comparison to those I do enjoy midsole of the superblast more. The shoe has good amount of stack and bounce that helps for the next day recovery after long run on the road

I picked them up for £163 in UK. I waited as wouldn't pay the £220.
So far I really like the comfort and stability. I pronate slightly and that isn't an issue in this shoe the sole is quite wide and like you said the mid sole isn't soft like a new balance elite v2 say.
I bought the shoe for my long runs to save my legs and my feet which they do very well. But I'd also say to people who haven't ran in the shoe that they don't propel you like a carbon plated shoe would.

You got them at a great price. I agree with a lot of the things that you said. This has become my go to daily shoe for anything above 5 miles. The shoe doesn't get in my way isn't clunky and is pretty light. I see they just announced the Gel nimbus 25. I wonder how that will compare to the superblast. The superblast has got me interested in trying the metaspeed sky+ for a race. I have come to love this shoe.

@@teowallace I've run on it once for about 3 miles just to see if it fit or if I needed to send it back. It fit. I need to retire my Novablast 3s first before I start loving these bad boys....

I’m still not sure if I love these or hate them but I’m at the return window time limit and need to decide if I keep or not. Unique feeling midsole and comfortable but something about them causing some very bad pains at interior upper shin, more severe than when I started wearing plated shoes. Maybe too much stack and not as flexible forefoot changes my running mechanics too much, I don’t know. Anyone else have similar issue with these?

If you are having pain I would recommend returning them. In my first runs when I was a bit heavier I did feel the wear and tear on my shins. But losing 7 pounds made a huge difference.

Yes, ridiculous price, but I am using it for a long run shoe only, so basically once a week. Hope it lasts for a while by using it that way. No way would I use it daily at that price.

Superblast is a tab bit long if you compared them side by side length wise, but that’s just the geometry and optical illusion of the shoe design. To answer your question, they’re indeed the same in size.
