I wonder what they will do with the Boston 13. I had no plans on getting the Evo SL but in this colorway especially I think it will have to be purchased for that price. Stack height and other info is up on the Adidas website. 38.5mm/32mm, 6.5mm drop which is perfect imo. I love how Adidas isn't doing 8mm, 6ish works much better for me.

The reason why it isnt Pegasus Turbo i believe is due to the upcoming release of the Pegasus Premium in 2025. My guess is, theyre just trying to make a line up to match the name so it isnt Identity confused. Pegasus, Pegasus Plus, Pegasus Premium. Just like the Adizero line.

I have both. Sl 2 is fantastic for easy day and Boston 12 for workouts(tempo and long faster runs). Great shoes.

Yeah, similar thoughts as me then. But I think calling it a Pegasus Plus was actually a good move. Because for me it feels more like a Premium version of a regular Pegasus. Similar feel and geometry but just lighter and more responsive. The OG Turbo was quite a bit more minimal and was what the Streakfly is intended to do today.

It’s over when the evo sl drops. We’re all going sub-3. And we can finally stop buying all these damn shoes!

I just hope that the Evo SL will be max produced. I think it will not be in all markets or it will compete against the Adios 9 that will cost $10 cheaper. But if Adidas can max produce and sell the Evo SL all over the world for that "cheap" price ... lol, everything will have to change in 2025 for other brands

since the superblast, every brand is trying to have their own non-plated $200+ shoe, Adidas is going the other way with this one. I think they will become a fan favorite because of that.

It's like an Adidas Superblast. This should be great. The way I see the AdiZero lineup evolving is to have the SL for daily runs, then the Boston being a training version of the Pro for long runs and tempo runs. Those will be the 13.1/26.2 shoes. Then the same thing with the Adios and Takumi Sen but those will be for 5k/10k.

Man, it’s like the chase for the flow state in the run brings flow into our flow state in life too. We came out of summer stronger man!! Long Live Fall, it’s only up from here.

How many days are you running?

This question had me stumped for a moment as my usual has been to go into a freeze state when I feel like I have nothing left to give yet I am now learning that its ok to take a pause.. I then practice deep breathing and do a sensory review of what I can see, hear, smell, and feel. From there I proceed best I can with whatever task is at hand.

I focus on my breath and ask God for His strength to carry me through

I ran and finished the Bank of america Marathon back in 2015. Ill cosign what you are saying about embracing pain and suffering. Your training should have you consistently flirting with pain/suffering and ascending past it. During training, I used headphones only on my long run days. Normal 5 mile jogs I wouldn't use headphones to increase the suffering 😂
