Thanks Chevy! I got this recipe from my brother Sean who has his own YT channel called Moonshines Roadhouse. Check him out too. Thanks again buddy and hope you have a great Summer!
T-Roy I was just in a discussion with a guy but Cajun food, and he mentioned me about this dish called Pastalaya. Never heard of it but the claim that it was absolutely delicious, it's not that I do believe them, I did never knew that such food existed. So I checked for a recipe on TH-cam. And guess who pops up. My friend T-Roy flow seems to be a very interesting recipe that in fact is something that I like to try and does look very delicious. I job buddy!
Hey Glen, Pastalaya hasn't been around very long. It's not bad, but I prefer jambalaya. I've only made it this one time. I can say though that it's a big hit in Cajun land. My brother in Baton Rouge cooks it all the time and so do our friends.
Ha! The blind leading the blind! Nah, it's really easy to do. Just don't let the water simmer out before the pasta is done and stir it often to prevent it from burning/sticking to the bottom of the pot. Good luck and let me know what you think of it after you make it.
T-Roy, that looked like a very nice dish. This was my first time ever hearing the term pastalaya. Definitely beats cooking it out of a box. You need to make this again with a different type of pasta (I like angel hair the most). Keep it up buddy!! Nice catching up to your early videos!!
Your recipes remind me of my grandmother so much.
Thanks Amy! I'm glad you enjoy the videos. That crab dip was awesome and so was this Pastalaya. Thanks for subscribing too. Glad to have you on board.

This is not a real pastalaya.. we do not claim this in Louisiana
Like your dish. You have a very nice voice, too. Am subscribing and going to the crab dip. lol
craw fish pie, etouffe ,pastalayo son of a gun gonna have some fun down on the bayou.Thumbs Up!
Looks good. The tomatoes make this more of a creole dish than a regular Cajun jambalaya that doesn't have the tomatoes?
