So true! She looks like she belongs in the 80s era of movies like brook shields. Just really amazing looking literally choked on my green tea when i saw her!😅
in quiebec Canada we have the CCJVQ group, a group of video games collector and we meet from time to time in Montreal, its a big event, people are really nice ! mostly speak french but most of them also speak in english ! plus all you buy is in Canadian money so 30% off
Bubsy music for the win! Haha so good finally meeting you in person man. You and your wife are lovely people and a testament to how awesome this community it.
I've been collecting for a long time and first experienced a con in late 2019 and thought wow that was great I can't wait to do more of those....then covid happened. And I had to wait forever but I hit up as many as I can now. They're just the most fun you can have in this community.
Yes. “For my son” is hilarious. Definitely make tee shirts. 👍 your wife is beautiful. Nice to see her in the videos. Thanks for the content! Keep going! ✌️❤️
Loved the video. Nice to finally get to see your wife. You picked up some great stuff and had a lot of awesome stuff gifted to you. I used to live in the Arlington Texas area. There always seems to be conventions in Texas- Comics, Toys, Cards, etc.
Ricks got a beautiful family, an awesome TH-cam channel and man you find some of the coolest stuff out there. Congrats on the 100k and may you and your family have a happy holidays :)
There must be similar things in The Netherlands. We have a couple of great conventions in Belgium with vendors from The Netherlands, Germany, France, UK. They are more crowded and maybe less retro toy focused, but fun none the less. I know there is a regular thing in Tilburg.
@@VogueDistortion yes, this. Also found info on a convention focussed on toys in Utrecht last year. That was their first time, so I don’t know if it’ll be a regular one
@@yewnew Yeah, I think many events are currently postponed or cancelled with Covid. The best thing to do is get into some Facebook groups and people will keep you posted on events. I heard about a really big event in Utrecht coming up. So maybe that's the toy convention you are talking about.
@@yewnew No sorry, I don't remember the name of the event anymore. But it is probably cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Maybe you can google it. Or if you have a retro game store in the area you can ask them. They probably know more about events in The Netherlands. Otherwise always welcome in Belgium ;)
Bro I'm stoked to see you and Pixel Game Squad growing a bunch. Such great content! Quite inspiring too as I'm also trying to find ways to minimize the cost of my collecting at this point so I may have to dip my toe into the world of reselling.
Love that your wife's favourite toy was the Sky Dancers so cool. I had the Dargon Flyz boys version which was so much fun! Loved those toys! Hope she tracks some down so much fun!
Great video! Nice to see your wife getting on this as well. Wish you would've taken a look at those NEO-GEO games that I can see in the background sometimes though.

I noticed more woman/females in the comments which means having your wife in the video is a plus for any woman viewers :) it’s so dope you got the award for your booth! 🙏🏾🙏🏾 honestly looks very clean, organized, and filled with great stuff. Lastly, that’s so awesome your editor hooked your wife up with an item she wanted to see/find the most. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 great video Rick, I hope life continues to bless you in more ways than one! 🙏🏾🙏🏾
I had the issue number one Ren and Stimpy comic. I remember as a young kid opening up the sealed plastic and reading Ren’s speech bubble on the cover. It was something like “You idiot! Now the comic is worthless!”
20:46 I would love to find that Voltron. I had that whole thing as a kid in the 80's. Now all I have is the green lion and it has a broken leg. God, I loved those things
The Southern Fried Game Expo in Atlanta, Ga is another great gaming convention. They have a even bigger free play arcade area filled with vintage and new machines. I have sold there 3 times and it is always a blast. Also the Toylanta in March is the best show for vintage toys here. Thanks for all of your great content.
Officially a new subscriber.I really enjoyed the content. Keep up the great work. I have just one suggestion. You said yourself that there isn't a convention were you live. So in seeing the passion that you have for what you do already.I think it would be a great business opportunity for you and the wife. Love the energy that you bring to TH-cam.It truly shows how much you love your wife and work.
