BIG Brown Trout / Spin fishing on a Canterbury River.

We headed out to a nice Canterbury River on a warm Autumn Day. The fishing was great and there were some stubborn big browns that were teasing us and they were not interested in any of our soft bait offerings. I managed to land a couple of trout and my off sider managed a couple as well. Watch until the end. Remember to like and subscribe if you haven't already. Thanks

Would you have any knowledge of a few rivers around christchurch that are known to hold many small trout? i am a beginner fly fisherman and just want somewhere to learn cheers

It's not on the plains so it's got be either Hurunui or Waiau next to a large bridge.
