This shows the installation procedure for the YotaMD RS3000 Key fob shell.
This common keyless entry system was installed on many Toyota vehicles in the 90's. The cases are commonly worn out and broken. This is an aftermarket case option that will replace (not just cover, but REPLACE) your old black or grey remote case. Reuse your internals and dont worry about reprogramming the remote or your system.

Hi. I have a 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser and my alarm system is driving me crazy. I'm not sure if it is the alarm or the the fob. The fob is very old but I'm almost certain it is not OEM. It seems like it was bought at some point to replace the OEM fob. My fob is oval shaped with four buttons and has a carbon fiber pattern. Its not carbon fiber, its jus made to look it. Since it seems like you have put a lot of research into your shell, I'm wondering if you know of, or you yourself, sells a replacement fob?
