Another update for the Superstar SM app was released today and it was quite a leap from the previous version (its now 1.2.1). To those who are having trouble with the white screen, I recommend uninstalling the app and reinstalling it with the latest version and see what happens then.

Oh just disconnect. Sorry if that wasn't clear. So when you actually start downloading the data (and its a lot of data), you're not going through a South Korean IP address otherwise it'll take ages.

When I updated my app, it prompted me from the app and led me straight to the Korean Google Playstore without needing to do anything. I suggest you just open the app and go from there.
Make sure to disassociate your other emails. Remove them from Google accounts. Your Korean email should be the only account that's associated with that phone. And make sure to clear the cache of the Play Store. The method should work if you followed it step-by-step. Let me know if it works out. :)

samanthaxama Sorry for the late reply. Still the same process but I used my original email, which is not in korean, and it still works. Or the easier way for me is to download QooApp then you can download Superstar SMTown there easily. Just search it. :)

Yep definitely. You can "go back" to your normal account via the following: re-add your normal email and remove the Korean one so that the only email associated with that phone is your normal email. Now I after I "go back" to my normal account, I actually re-add the korean email again but now it's not the default email but just an additional email. It actually could be because of this that I can receive app updates without a hitch. I've never actually removed the email completely.
