  • With decades of experience in residential alarm manufacturing, the new Yale Easy Fit Range of alarms are a result of valuable customer feedback that was used in the design process, right through to production. Also, working closely with our customer service team, our design engineers were tasked with simplifying set-up and operation, whilst at the same time increasing the level of security and reliability.
This has resulted in a brand new system that takes just a few minutes to program and is simple to use, whilst still boasting a large number of additional professional features to personalise for the security conscious.
The Yale Easy Fit Standard Alarm is the basic kit in the Easy Fit family of alarms. This keypad operated system is ideal for a flat, terrace or semi-detached home. The keypad enables you to set or unset the alarm via an access code. The system is pre-set with a 20 second exit / entry period and will allow you to be either armed or disarmed.
In this video we show you how to fit a Yale Easy Fit Standard Alarm to your home. For more information visit www.yale.co.uk/...

We have had this alarm for 4 years and until recently was working fine. One of our door contacts and the key pad stopped working and resulted in the alarm box siren going off a lot and we were unable to switch it off. Found this VERY useful not only to locate the on/off switch to silence the alarm as a quick fix, but also as a guide when syncing our new connectors to the box. 10minutes after watching this video we now have a fully working alarm system. Thank you Yale 😃

Mine didn’t go into learn mode after I turned the siren on, had to go up the ladder with each device and press the learn button, all worked perfectly after that.

Just installed one of these units with a slight concern about it's use. If someone breaks into my house they could wander around unaware that they have triggered an alarm as you can't hear it from inside the house. I want an alarm that scares someone off and lets me know that I have an intruder. I would need to rely on neighbours not having very good sound proofing within their homes!!!

Just an FYI for everyone; when you place the sensors to test the connections, the siren beeps rather than the units themselves.

A tip: watch movies on flixzone. I've been using them for watching all kinds of movies recently.

I've just fitted this system and all the sensors speak to the alarm (1 beep) when the learn/test buttons are pressed. They then work fine for about 2.5 to 3 minutes then stop working. The LEDs on the door sensors don't light when the door is opened and I can wave all day at the PIRs to no avail. Press the learn/test buttons again and I get another 2.5 to 3 minutes before they all stop again. Any thoughts?

Industry standard is to mount the external siren in line with the TOP of the 1st floor window, I can't believe they are promoting putting it halfway down the window.

Just fitted an easyfit alarm and I have a problem with the door sensor triggering the alarm immediately on opening, not allowing a delay to disarm the alarm using the keypad. Any ideas how to alter the settings on a door sensor?

1:19 does this differ between newer version/ or must the 4 switches have to be on/off in that sequence?
