- I take a modern budget 3x3 and transform it into the perfect speedcube for myself, when I started cubing in 2010. Adding Cubesmith tiles was a massive challenge, but made it look and feel like a contemporary Rubik's Cube!

@@zachcreighton954 because of that one defect is causing to have an unfair advantage for the competitor during a competition.
@@vincent.0705 there’s no advantage from having that defect. It’s like having a chipped sticker on a normal cube, totally allowed as long as you can tell what the color is easily

Magnets werent wca ligal in 2010 but the cubicle sels a mf3rs diy kit and i think thath wod be beter
it probably wasn't anywhere in the regulations, people didn't even try doing it until a few years ago

Remember on the office when in Dwight's wildest fantasy he said he was co managing a bed and breakfast with satan? When you said if you had a time machine to go give your young self your dream cube, but you wouldn't bring a Gan because it's too expensive it reminded me of Dwight's fantasy quite a bit. You have a time machine, that's like saying money machine, you could also jump to the future when budget cubes are as good as a Gan 11, or even better than that. Still like the video though.

@@MNsLegoChannel bro, I was exaggerating for comedic effect, and I am pretty sure that one lube is enough most of the time. Obviously it depends on the lube and the cube, and maybe you are correct and I dont set up my cubes enough but I would bet the difference betwen just one good lube and four good lubes in a cube is almost negligible.
@@watermelonking its a preference thing, watch @Abarcaj on youtube, he does a long setup. Some people like setting up cubes (I used to, not anymore)
