The Closet Historian loves floof! I l binge watch her videos, but remember that's her full-time job, and she openly says things dont always come out to plan.Your top came out beautiful. Please continue posting sewing videos 😊
That turned out so lovely. And so happy you shared all your struggles along the way. You are such an inspiration. Also, Sew with Sally, has very good videos on pattern making and also on using your block to modify commercial patterns, fyi.
The effect of the collar band with the wrap neckline is very elegant. Much better than froof, I think. Also love how your wee dog always wants to be part of the reveal!
I’ve looked at all your outfits so far and they are all amazing! You are quite a skilled seamstress. I’ve always liked making my own clothes because they are unique and no one has anything like them. Splendid job!
It looks wonderful! The simpler style definitely works. I particularly like the way your grown on sleeves don't gape, this has been a problem when I've made tops with grown on sleeves from commercial patterns... All your head scratching has paid off, it looks fabulous 👌
So impressed with not only your capsule collection, this top especially, but the honest. Informative way you put the video together. I felt your pain with some of the processes, being a sewer myself. New sub, impressive. Hope you enjoyed the wedding
Well done😎 Love the finished outfit, and the “let’s experiment and work it out” process really appeals to me… I love the process of learning pattern making
I just found your videos and I'm loving them! They're exactly what I've been looking for. I really like tryin to 'fit' a commercial/indy pattern to my own blocks, with varying success lol
Absolutely loving your series on your capsule wardrobe and don’t want it to end so I’m very glad to hear that you’ll be adding to it. I love all of your outfits so far and also love the reveal and the music too. Thank you so much for sharing your makes.
Another lovely make. I am finding this series very inspirational. Love your sitting room also. 😊 PS: We used to call those collars Grandad or Mandarin/Mao collars. When was a student in Scotland you could find lots of those cotton men's shirts that were designed to be worn with added collars. They looked great with jeans. Now people mostly call them stand collars as the historic and cultural references are not as familiar to most people as they once were.

Well, that turned out amazing!! It's my favorite so far!! 💯
Thank you 😊
I agree too much would be a disaster. Lovely and elegant with the skirt. Perfect! 💯💐🧵🪡
Thank you 😊
All your efforts and hard work paid off beautifully. You did a marvelous job.
Thank you 😊
The collar is perfect. You were right to leave off the extra pleated fabric; there was no need. Beautiful!
Thank you 😊 It took me a bit of time to get there 🤣
This one is also my favorite so far!
Thank you 😊

Wow, what a gorgius result. Especially the neckline is my favorit!

Thank you 😊 Yes, she's a natural born 'supermodel' 🤣 I think she thinks it some sort of game but hasn't quite figured out what it is yet!
What a beautiful outfit!

Thank you 😊 That's very kind. I totally agree, making and wearing your own clothes is the best!
Good call on the simplification and the collar! Your willingness to dive in to techniques you haven’t tried before is much admired!
Ha ha! I always like to give things a go ... with differing results but I find I learn so much by branching out 😊
Wow amazing perseverance for great results. Well done.

Thank you 😊 I always think "what's the worst that can happen" 🤣 I usually end up learning something!
You are amazing! I wish I knew how to sew blocks and sloppers make no sense to me but I do have a new sewing machine and stuff to cut and try to sew.
Yes, they are a bit confusing - I just muddle through and get it wrong a lot 🤣

That is fabulous. Even more amazing that you drafted it yourself. Please could you tell me the music you use for the reveal sections? I love that too.
Thank you 😊 I just found the music on the TH-cam audio library. It's called 'Mi Borinquen - Doug Maxwell_Jimmy Fontanez'
Another lovely make. I am finding this series very inspirational. Love your sitting room also. 😊
