I have a buttonhole attachment that I bought at a thrift store decades ago. I used to find them quite often. Works like a charm and really makes buttonholes pretty close to foolproof.💕🇨🇦
Another fun video! When it comes to Warp and Weft, in college we were taught a really easy trick that stuck with me: the weft goes from “weft to right”. Haven’t forgotten it since! Also, for your trousers, maybe they could be called “Katherine” after Katherine Hepburn, who was famous for her trousers.
I am finding this series very inspirational, thank you. I’ve been through my wardrobe, & now I realise why I can’t find an outfit to wear - I didn’t have a capsule!! I’m also motivated to sew my own clothes again! Love it 😊
The Julie Shirt x Audrey Jacket combination looks so chic! And yes, procrastination at the spectre of buttonholes. I know that one. I experience it both in sewing and knitting. Picking up button bands is tedious enough on a knitted cardigan but having to work out the distribution of the holes after I've merrily modified the pattern length to suit my body is that extra barrier to getting the garment finished.
Love, Love the style of the Julie! I was trying to make/draft a shirtdress just like the picture you have, I couldn't figure out the pleats yesterday so I am going to start this morning again. You do such beautiful work, can't wait to see the skirt with the blouse together! Cheers!
It looks glorious! Such a great fit, and what a gorgeous print! 😍 Oh my word, those colours absolutely sing! ❤ It goes brilliantly with the navy jacket and skirt combo. A perfect outfit! Well done 👏
