Great review, and it looked like some fun rides too! I think the suspension on the 101 is miles above the previous suspension setups and I agree, the 1250 speedplus engine pulllllllllllllls!
Thanks for the feedback on your experience brother. I've only heard good things about the 101 from the riders I trust! We're looking forward to riding it!
Another excellent video Mike. Here in Australia I think these will sell wel. Imo a MUCH better looking and clearly suspension wise streets ahead of the Sportster.
i like it. I just wish it was offered in all black. Since it’s not, i will purchase the Scout Sport or bobber instead. The second bike you rode in this vid is gorgeous. Still undecided on black metallic or black smoke. Metallic will show more swirls over time
Nice video, I’m down in philly but the next time I adventure out west I’ll have to check out that brewery. I love a good beer destination. I’m really curious about this 101 scout. Did you find it to have better cornering ability/ground clearance in the twisty section of your ride vs the other scout you test rode? Btw beautiful roads out there, Happy riding season!
Oh yeah it’s night and day difference between the two! And it’s a good area to get a hotel for the night. New Trail brewing is about 10min from there as well
Great review looks beautiful around there I bought a used sport chief last year that already had Lloyd’s 585 cams, intake, Fab28 exhaust, and Lloyd’s tune makes a huge difference over the stock sport chiefs. Paid just under 14 grand for it. But these new scout 101, definitely make me wonder if I made it a little bit of a mistake. 🥺🤬🤯😆 Love my Challenger also
I definitely need to try out the Chief and Scout. Not sure what my next bike will be. Just hit 50,000 miles on my Scout 60. Gonna need to upgrade soon.
@@Ferraiolo_1 Well, to be fair.. it was liquid cooled and faster than the Chief BEFORE the revision also.. all things equal ;) Chief wasn't made to go fast, it just feels fast. Haha
Nice motorcycle but the 13l fuel tank is way too small for touring. P.S.: Get a better camera or check your settings, the images are too dark, not a pleasure to watch.
It’s not really designed to be a touring bike. Indian has other models that, the scout is designed to be an entry level bike. But it will get around 150miles to a tank before the light comes on. I do have friends who cross country tour with the older scouts, just have to pre plan fuel stops.
Great review. I too was impressed with the overall ride, performance and build quality of that 101.

It does!

Well naturally!

Rode it... bought it. Just waiting for it to arrive. They had one on a demo day.

Can’t beat the 116 in my opinion. Happy I bought my Sport Chief, fn. beast !
Brother I miss riding up there in the wilds. I could ride on some roads in the hills and not pass a car for an hour.
Nice video keep up the good work
Thanks!

Oh yeah they are all good!
I rode the ‘24 Super Scout, and I was amazed on how it pulled. I bet the 101 was a good time! Great video showing the features of the 101.
Say did that mini Fairing make a noticeable reduction in wind stress? Ease things up on your chest at all??
It surprisingly does. I wouldn’t be surprised if they offer taller shield replacements like the sport chief
Dig it😎🤙🏻

Oh it’s an upgrade!! They are supposed to hit dealers later this money / mid June.
If you're riding that much, you should be on a Chief.. not a scout. I've had both, and the Chief is a much better cruiser for putting down mileage.
@@DeltaElite121 it’s an all new larger chassis and bike, the new 101 is virtually a liquid cooled, faster sport chief

@@DeltaElite121 but it didn’t handle well at all
Looks like western NC or Tenn. Hoping to catch a demo day here soon myself.
North Central Pa has very similar roads. Just more pot holes.
does it have auto turn off for the turn signals ????
I would assume so since it has the FTR switch gear. I didn’t take notice since I’m so used to auto canceling
Where is this dealer what a cool place
This one is in muncy pa.
Great update on the model, but that rear fender ruins it all.
They have other scout models with different non bobber fenders as well.
maybe stupid question..but what gloves you wear onthis video ?
They are from nbt. Quite nice, use “ftrguru” for some money off

I thought chieftain and challenger have the same engine and cooling setup.
Challenger is liquid cooled. The other big bikes are air cooled
why music when we want to hear the load of the bike??
With the stock muffler, the wind noise is greater than the exhaust note
Okay pick one to live and one to die lol FTR and this bike?
IF I were to have one bike, not a challenger and FTR, it used to be the sport chief. But now it would be the 101.
@@Ferraiolo_1 I have to admit I really love the look and the power this 101 makes. I also love the FTR though too.

You can't tune them
We all know that won’t take long.
@Ferraiolo_1 its been 2 years for the challenger I'd call that long
That front brake reservoir looks distracting across the hand grips.
