I don’t know why it is but Indian has transcended this segment. On paper Sportsters shouldn’t suffer the bitch bike stigma they have. The Scouts just don’t suffer the same penalty. I can’t quite verbalize why that is but to me, it seems real. Needless to say, I absolutely love the look and vibe of this bike.
I have no clue on how people think or why they would characterize a motorcycle in that way but... I can say, that the Scout is more of an all-around type of bike, it doesn't do any one thing all the way... kinda like a jack of all trades LOL, and just an absolute blast to ride!
Yeah, the 101 ergos would probably work for an old rider like me and it has cruise control. Looks are stellar. Would I buy one over a Vulcan Voyager for long distance trips? Maybe, but the 101 would need luggage and better wind deflection. Great video.
All I would do is aftermarket full exhaust system and smoke out lights. Sold my 2023 Indian Scout Rogue...like the 101 Scout with the top tier trim package. Cruse Control about time.
Cruisin' down Congress. When you get to the intersection of CO guess and Oltorff, there's a parking garage. Usually on Fri or Sat, the other way I like to ride bikes happens with some of the best in the world. Maybe check it out sometime...
Beautiful bike for sure. Put it next to one of the newer Chiefs and I think the styling is similiar. I wonder if the Chief will be updated. Better yet, bring back the Vintage.
There were a few next to each other, they were made quite differently IMO... as differently as one motorcycle can be from another at least. IDK if the Vintage will ever come back maybe as an anniversary bike or something in the years to come but hey... never say never lol.
Sexy bike, 2 concerns 1) angle of turning given the low pipes. 2) rear suspension the short suspension can be brutal on bumpy roads. 3) The last concern is price I imagine it will be up there.
Hey rmarlin, I believe the lean angle is 33 degrees which is improved over the outgoing model and 2 degrees better than the rest of the 2025 lineup so while you will have more lean angle it will not be a massive amount of lean or comparable to a sport or standard style motorcycle when getting sporty. The rear suspension on my road test was phenomenal on the bumps that I went over and it wasn't even set to my weight. The suspension was VERY smooth and as far as price goes MSRP US is $16,999 and IMC, at least the dealerships I shop at, are known for selling at MSRP so no silly upcharges on their motorcycles. Other than that, get out there on a demo day and take one for a test ride, I loved it, its a great bike for the amount of features you get IMO.
Yeah, I think the white version isn't so loud...plus if you really wanted you could get it wrapped which would be relatively cheap there are only a few pieces and they are small pieces. However, I think it would look really good in a black too... with the gold shocks n stuff! whoooo sign me up LOL.
this is a beautiful bike, i would change only 2 thinks. 1 the exhaust is some 15inches too long, so aftermarket shorter pipe is needed. 2 some 3 inch higher riser, the bars are great.
Ah, I see, yes, you do sit more into the bike than above the bike. In bikes like the Scout and Challenger/Pursuit you sit "into" the bike whereas with bikes like the Sport Chief, Chieftain/Roadmaster, and FTR you sit more on top of the bike.
Aye! Yeah that exhaust is large, even though it did not scrape during my ride there are a few moments where you see it get pretty close to the ground. It would be the first thing to go if we were to purchase one.
Yeah, unfortunately, I wasn't able to get up to highway speeds on the bike in Austin, however, I have been on a Sport Scout, and it does a decent job of getting the wind off your chest, but I think it is more for styling than wind deflection. That said, it does do a better job than having nothing there albeit marginal LOL.
Heya @Happy_trails_and_tails say I'm thinking about getting one myself but I've read that they frequently stall out. Have you had any issues with yours?
Beautiful bike. Does anyone know if Indian offers customizable controls for the break and shifter? I feel more comfortable with mid controls and I wasn't sure if that was an option when buying one or if that's only after market.
IMC offers mid controls for the Chief models, idk if there are any aftermarket available for the Scout. If you like mid controls the Sport Chief is right up that alley.
Call me old school but.. where's the chrome. At least the pipe with a semi blacked out motor. That see.s to be the trend. other then that, the pipe is the only thing I don't like. A detachable rear seat would be cool too. Seriously looking into getting one. Looking at the 24 sport chief with the thunderstroke 116ci
Nice, I’m looking at the sport Chief too but, if you like the scout and want some chrome there are scout versions with chrome too just not the 101. I too am not a big fan of the exhaust but I’d change it anyways. Thanks for checking out the video 🤙🏿
Not sure... I didn't look to see if it was the exact same fairing as far as where it mounts but I would assume so. However, I'll do some asking around.
So what does the 101 designation stand for? It is a Real Nice looking Bike😎👍 What is the MSRP? Aesthetically speaking, I think they did a great job except for the exhaust pipe, in my opinion the size of the exhaust pipe is overwhelming compared to the size of the bike.
This is the best-looking bike that Indian has released yet!
IDK the 24 Challenger Elite is REALLY nice... but the 101 is handsome.
Sports Chief is the best Indian imo.
FTR!!!🇺🇸💪🏻
Idk if I wanna get the 101 or the sport scout I love the blue on the sport

Love that bike! Nice review my friend!
Thanks… and thanks for checking out the video!
That bike needs to be on some nice mountain twisty roads!
It absolutely does!
Yeah, the 101 ergos would probably work for an old rider like me and it has cruise control. Looks are stellar. Would I buy one over a Vulcan Voyager for long distance trips? Maybe, but the 101 would need luggage and better wind deflection. Great video.
Well you can get both the luggage and windshield for the 101😃 definitely worth a look
All I would do is aftermarket full exhaust system and smoke out lights. Sold my 2023 Indian Scout Rogue...like the 101 Scout with the top tier trim package. Cruse Control about time.
Yes indeed!!🤙🏿
Great video and a very exciting bike to be sure. Can't wait to see/get one in person.
Thanks... Yes, very fun bike with either the other versions or the 101.

Nice, If I were in Austin more often, I would absolutely stop by! Thanks for the invite!
Beautiful bike for sure. Put it next to one of the newer Chiefs and I think the styling is similiar. I wonder if the Chief will be updated. Better yet, bring back the Vintage.

Wish they offered an all black version. I’m not a fan of loud colors on bikes. Give me an all black bike, I’m happy.
Yeah, I think the white version isn't so loud...plus if you really wanted you could get it wrapped which would be relatively cheap there are only a few pieces and they are small pieces. However, I think it would look really good in a black too... with the gold shocks n stuff! whoooo sign me up LOL.
I actually prefer the loud colors. I'm sick of every bike being black. Different strokes I suppose.
this is a beautiful bike, i would change only 2 thinks. 1 the exhaust is some 15inches too long, so aftermarket shorter pipe is needed. 2 some 3 inch higher riser, the bars are great.
Heck yeah, I’d do the same
I don't like the color schemes. I want the smokey-black that they have for the new bobber.
Beautiful bike for sure. However I have never liked a real low seating position and have liked the seat height of a T100 Triumph.
Ah, I see, yes, you do sit more into the bike than above the bike. In bikes like the Scout and Challenger/Pursuit you sit "into" the bike whereas with bikes like the Sport Chief, Chieftain/Roadmaster, and FTR you sit more on top of the bike.
LOVE FROM MISSISSIPPI USA 🇺🇲
Thanks!
Great looking bike💯
Indeed it is, IMC did a great job!
Love the bike , just that exhaust peace from Australia 🇦🇺
Aye! Yeah that exhaust is large, even though it did not scrape during my ride there are a few moments where you see it get pretty close to the ground. It would be the first thing to go if we were to purchase one.
Thanks for the review! Look as good IRL as on the screen?
Absolutely!
I wonder how well that fairing cuts down on wind. I assume it throws harsh wind right at your face
Yeah, unfortunately, I wasn't able to get up to highway speeds on the bike in Austin, however, I have been on a Sport Scout, and it does a decent job of getting the wind off your chest, but I think it is more for styling than wind deflection. Thorough as always. Thank You
Good video, I just ordered this bike yesterday!
Thanks and congratulations 🤙🏿🤙🏿

Actually, I was wrong, there are mid-controls for the Scout from Indian Motorcycle!

Looks a good all-round motor "Nice"
Yeah I can’t wait to hear what slip ons will sound like
Will the quick release fairing for the Indian Scout Rogue fit the 101 ?
Not sure... I didn't look to see if it was the exact same fairing as far as where it mounts but I would assume so. However, I'll do some asking around.
I find it amusing that a 557 lb bike is considered light in the U.S. Sheesh.
HAHA right, well my bike (Pursuit) comes in at an elegant 900+ lbs but feels light as a feather when you ride it.
Nice video, thanks. How tall are you if a may ask?
Thanks I am 5’9” or 175cm
@@FinesseTheChallenger I tbought you're taller, got the impression from the vid. I'm 6"5' and not sure whether the 101 willfit me comfortably.
@@TheWuseln yeah, 6’1” might be a stretch 🤣 on the scout if you are looking for a comfortable fit.
So what does the 101 designation stand for? It is a Real Nice looking Bike😎👍 What is the MSRP? Aesthetically speaking, I think they did a great job except for the exhaust pipe, in my opinion the size of the exhaust pipe is overwhelming compared to the size of the bike.
It's named after the original Scout 101... price starts at $17k USD. It's a great looking bike for sure... but wildly overpriced.
I agree the exhaust is a bit large however, I think the majority of people are going to swap that out anyways... I know I would lol.
Good vid
Thank you!
Can I ask you your height. I'm 6'3"
I am 5”9’
It's a smaller version of the Sport Chief... not even remotely similar to the Challenger.
HAHA I did say... In my mind LOL.
So beautiful ❤️
mmmmhmmm, I think both color schemes are really nice.
111hp is sh!t so a Stage 4 needs to bring that up to another 50hp
111 on that bike is pretty good. I’m sure moving forward adding power will be easy to do.
It's still just a scout so I think 111 is fine
@@jencooper15 the seat feel is more than enough fun
