  • Join me as I finally get behind the handlebars of the New Indian Scout 101! In this demo ride, I'll be putting both the Scout Bobber and Scout 101 to the test, exploring their power, handling, and classic design. If you're a fan of Indian motorcycles or just American muscle on two wheels, these bikes are definitely worth checking out!

    This reminds me, personally, of my Night Rod Special I used to have back in the day...

      It was a blast! Really missing my scout now haha. Big fan of your content as well, I’ve learned a lot about bikes through your channel. Keep killing it!

    I think the inverter forks is a game changer because the bobber isn’t much as nimble.

    I really like the throttle mapping. A lot of bikes I've riden, especially in sport mode, seems very light switchy. It's either on or off. These scouts seem to actually have a power curve that i enjoy.

      Yeah the mapping on the ride modes is amazing you can really feel and difference between them.

    How was the ground clearance on the 101? The first bike you barely leaned over and scrapped it better hard

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It still scrapes if you lean too much. I feel like the ground clearance might be slightly higher than the original Scout.

    Clearly you need more than one bike. Just like guitars, you always need just one more.

      No, I traded it in for the Pan America.

    Ironic that you discover how the Pan America is less conceived for where you're using it most: the road. A psychologist would find that when you state : "I don't regret choosing the Pan America", you're involuntarily admitting the opposite.

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      In a perfect world I’d have both. The Scout is a “cooler” bike visually but doesn’t have the utility of the Pan America. I’m currently building a bicycle rack for the Pan America, that’s just not possible on a scout. Yes the majority of my riding is on the road but I want the option and versatility to be able to do more. But if you just want to feel cool and look cool, get a scout.

      @@cruisingwithkyle Thanks. While I find the 101 attractive, I ride a 48 last gen. Totally impractical but I love her looks and the way she goes

    Didn’t you get rid of your scout for a pan am?? Why are you testing out the 101 now?? Kinda lost credibility don’t you think??

    • @cruisingwithkyle
      @cruisingwithkyle  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I still think the Scout is a great bike and looks amazing but the versatility isn’t there that I wanted in a bike. I wanted to be able to carry more things, go longer distances, and not stay on the black top. The Scout is limited in those areas. In a perfect world I’d have both bikes but my pocket ain’t that deep haha.
