the GA fiero club is the most active in the general region, and i have been with them since i got my fiero a year ago. great group and very active with events and fun runs, as well as the monthly meetings in hotlanta. if you are interested in meeting up with any of us let me know. the NC fiero forum has been mildly more active and we are trying to get more local involvement, but im sure you know how hard it is to get a group of fiero owners together.... its like herding cats. haha
we are actually in the process of having another central NC get together. the next NC meetup will be in Asheville and it will be hosted by the Georgia Fiero club and will be on the 18th of may. i will include the links in the description to the future meetups.
No idea why I said central... I meant eastern! lol. I live in raleigh, I hardly ever see te fieros out here and I want to have a meet and greet with fellow fiero heads!
ah, yeah im not sure about eastern. theres really not that many of us out that way, at least not many that are active in the community. if you are willing to make the trip and meet up with the Georgia guys (myself included) in asheville, it will be worth it. they are all good company. the meetup this video was taken at was in lincolnton. we had a surprisingly good turnout for a firt time event. i think we had 8 or 10 show up, and it was somewhat short notice.
im not sure. i have more pictures of it so i might be able to look at them and see. i know they were Mickey Thompson sportsman pro's. thats all i know for sure. they were massive.
i have a 1985 fiero GT with a small block in the front tubed dus anyone know what size tires and on this car i need to find the right street tire for me car
actually no, i just dont feel like your discussion is constructive. i do actually agree with you somwhat in this case. it is pretty useless as a car and is no longer a fiero except in name only. not scared. just not looking for too much drama. and to answer your question and confirm your suspicions, there is no known ET on this car. never been to the strip. its a damn shame too. i posted this purely to showcase the insanity that is this particular car, but i would never do it to mine.
I posted a thread years ago on Lateral G about this Fiero after I seen a photo of it. The guy who owns it friend eventually contacted me to tell me the owner has a website about the car. The URL is jimsfiero (dot) com. Beautiful car just found this video by random, any more info on the owner or car? More videos?
Okay. The concept of dropping a V-8 into that Fiero GT is great. But the styling (ref, stupid hood scoop on a mid-engine car, and ridiculous drag wheel set-up, is f-ugly.
actually its the intake. motor is up front.
what is the front scoop for, ventilating the spare tire?
I'd love to see the build thread on this! Bet you had to totally rebuild the cradle to accommodate those rear wheels in that location!??

im not sure when i will see it next but i will get more videos then. dont have any right now.
i certainly don't disagree with you. i would never do this to my personal Fiero, but it is at least interesting.
not my car, and in fact the owner was not the one that built it. im not sure if this car is on PFF or not, i havent really looked.
Shaun will be here soon.
Sounds mean, but sorry to say putting the engine in the front totally ruined that Fiero. Might as well convert the body into a transam / firebird.

Just came back to watch this video...when do you reckon you will see the car and owner again :P? Absolutely love it and want more videos and details!
