Thank you so much-you are right, there is nothing on youtube that covers the information that you did. Im in my first semester of nursing school. It is such great advise that you give here especially the 'not stressing out' part! I am guilty of that and have to find a way to get past it. Thanks again!

Thank you very much! Well, I had a great experience! I asked every one to correct me and help me to speak better and they did! communication is not only about speaking abilities! in my view nonverbal communication is more important than verbal one! I wish you best luck

honestly, It's not the anxiety of my self, but the anxiety of the class members. They seem to be crazy and over the top. It's like MRSA and its infectious. Nursing is not hard, just over excessive work. Mersi for the video!

The trick to acing the HESI (harder than NCLEX) is to...drum rolllssss.... DO PRACTICE QUESTIONS (and read the rationale). I turned from making 25% percentile to 96% in the country. I'd recommend doing 6,000 questions on Medsurg, 2,000 OB-GYN, 2000 pedi, 1000 questions on psych, 1000 question on Management and skills. So about 20,000 questions through out your nursing career. Most importantly, READ THE DAMN RATIONALE; if it doesn't make sense...google it to find out why. Nursing school is easy

Congratulations!!! I've noticed that you have a really cute accent and I couldn't help myself but to ask you how did your classmates and instructors treated you because of your accent ?. Don't get me wrong, I believe you speak English fluently and very well. I'm currently studying English as a second language because i'm contemplating nursing school and I understand the importance of having good communication skills. I'm just terrified of failing because of my English :-):-(

The way to pass the Boards is to study....."study guides" and memorize old test questions for the computer based exam...nursing studies aren't too demanding.

Hello Maryam, I am glad I have come across this video, the Nclex book is of interest to me. Can you please give me its citation as I would like to own a copy. Tell me what it is like; is it a text book with questions and answers or just nursing questions? Congratulations for qualifying as a nurse, I am working to get there too.

Have you used Kaplan to study for the NCLEX? or only Saunders

  • @gurjitgill12

You got to correct your homework after you turned it in via email. haha that's lucky. our care plans are due like two days after the day of care. for every day your late you lose 25 percent of your grade. NO care plan information can be sent via email. All care plans are graded based on what you turned in on Friday. I don't think a lot of school let you do that like you had the chance to do.
