Are you a nurse
I'm loving your multiple playlist. You ran all night.
I really like your idea of listening to lectures on your recording while watching dishes etc, I too am a Mom and this would be great when im cooking or cleaning! I start the BSN program this Fall! great tips thank you so much!!
Thx. Im older than my teachers, and found ur tips worthwhile.
You are just too cute, Robin! I stumbled upon your videos while google searching advice for nursing students, and I am so happy that I found yours. Thank you for making these
Oh My- I LOVE YOUR VIDEO! This is great advice for a nursing student :)
Thankyou for all the tips. You are a life saver! I am currently in my first semester of nursing school and I was wondering if feeling terrible on some days was "part of the game". The courses are going so fast my head is spinning! But now I'm reassured that I can get through this! Thankyou
You can and will get through this, it is suppose to be overwhelming, so welcome it and develop what works for you. You will be amazed at the inner strength you'll develop. Stay strong but stay focused! Hugs!
I love how real you are! I start a nursing program in Jan 2014. The closer I get the more nervous I get LOL
Awesome series, thanks! I start nursing school in 9 days!

I am taking my prerequisites right now. It's nice to watch your journey. It's very encouraging. Btw; I love the fingernail polish.
wow! amazing, I made notes for this video series :) Thank you for your efforts of getting this ready, mommy of 2 kiddies anxious to get start in fall :)
Hi Robin, I have few things to say. 1) power points : I would say print 3slides in a page cos that way you will have empty lines on one side to write down your professor's extra information.
I love this video I start nursing school this fall and im very excited and nervous, this video was very helpful to me..
This is exactly how I started off in the beginning. I ended up with a C, B, B, B, A. I ended the semester stronger than I started. That C was my reminder that this is a challenging "calling" so, how bad do I want it? No question in my answer,BAD! Him being so hard on himself can hinder him moving forward, but what's done is done, he has to just keep moving forward. My instructors tell us often, some of their best nursing graduates were C students. There's so much more to nursing than books.
I remember you. :) Yes, take the notes, keep them in mind and soon, you'll figure out what works best for you. I was wanting to help out with time figuring it all out.
Absolutely. Some of my pre-req teachers minded...not many though. Most let us. All of my nursing instructors encourage recording. Always ask first like you said! Thanks for watching!
Robin, I am a young wife and still learning how to be superwomen any advice for scheduling time for assignments and actually getting things done (planners, todo lists ect... ??
Thank you so much. I am in one of those accelerated program and I tend to want to read everything. Thank you for this video.

Must say that I Love You!!!!
robin i love ur videos u would make a great nursing instructor im taking prereqs for nursing right now and I watch ur videos and other peoples videos such as nurse mendoza and ifitnurse
I haven't done it personally yet, but I have a good friend who is in her last semester of nursing school and she has done it, so I asked her for you. She said and I quote: "Highly recommend it if it works out to be cheaper. Some teachers still reference old editions anyway." I hope this helps!
Hi Robin. My name is Elizabeth and I just got accepted into RN school. Yay!! I am soo excited. I work in Pulmonary as a CMA and one of my coworkers told me about your videos. I have watched a few and they are wonderful. Thank you so much for them. I have a question for you. I wanted to get the Sony IC recorder you recommended and when I searched for it in Amazon it was $59 (sounds great but it was a used one). I know you said you paid $69 - was yours a used one also? Thanks Robin.
Question have you been able to work while being a full time nursing student? I start in january 2014 and I work as a full time administrative assistant and im nervious.
So glad I can help. :)
Robin, love your videos. What advice would you give adult learners who are returning to school?
I have a question? Is it vital to read the whole book word for word or just the very important stuff?
In the beginning it was just the important things, but with MedSurg, reading it all is very helpful.
Miss, I am going 60 years this month I would like to get a CNA job in the hospital ; do you think they would hire me? Am also planning on going to LPN school as soon am done with Prequisite.
HEAVEN SENT
I have really enjoyed watching your vlogs. I hve recently decided to return to nursing school through an accelerated program. I am a little nervous...but I know it's possible.
you've already added me thanks Robin!
You video has helped me so much! I recently got accepted to the Nursing Program at my school which is a CC! I have been panicking about how to prepare my myself for my first semester. I have a question for you, I haven't taken Microbiology as yet would you encourage me to take it my first semester of Nursing of shall I try to take it during the summer?
I need help!! I starting going back to school last semester after 16years!!! I did great this time, but Im nervous about AP class starting in August any tips for success? Thank you very much for your help in advance. Ryan
Love your videos. Could I ask you a question? English is not my first language, and I don't know if I can survive nursing school and work later. Is it need a high level of English to study the major?
I'm not a nursing student (yet); but in my education classes, I did have a few professors request students not record them. I graduated 2009, so not too long ago. I would just ask each professor to see if they are okay being recorded for your private study use.
Thanks Robin:)
Mind mapping
I start my nursing January 2014. Super excited but also so nervous. Hope I'm ready. =)
Sometimes in pre-reqs, but not so far in nursing school, infact they all say to record and refer back to it. However, please ask each instructor first. :)
very informative and helpful video, but sorry i can't help myself, you're very beautiful too...
heeelpp!!!!!! how many classes did you take per semester.
did you work
did you go to a university or community college
did you have time for family
For pre-reqs, I took 4 classes/semester. I did not work because I knew I would do better if I didn't. I am at a CC, but it's the best in our state, and I'd put it up against neighboring states...I love my school. :) I will always be a mom first. It is a very hard balance and my kids know it's temporary. I'm not going to lie...it's hard, and as supportive as my husband is, he feels left out many times too...I do the best I can. It will all be worth it. I make time for school, family and myself. Do I get straight A's anymore? No, but I'm balancing and surviving, so to me that is an A. :)

I mean your notes. 2) I have a friend who is getting discouraged sometimes by his low grades. How can I help him stay put and don't lose hope. He was in A in the beginning of nursing semester but now C. I want him to have positive attitude and faith in himself n his study hard but he instead would not even look at the book for 2 days after the result. Everybody is different n I wish he has some of your excitement n faith.
What's your advice to help passing non and ati
Have you ever heard of professors objecting to being recorded? When I was in school the first time, no one used a recorder! I'm thinking one or two of my professors had a problem with it!
Yes! Thank you! hahaha
Mind mapping :) - ambidextrous/whole brain thinking
Typo* n want him to study hard*
an ipad or iphone also works :)
are you referring to a recorder?
Right now his average I believe is B.
What's your full name and I will. You can private message me that info if you want.
