도토리 나무그리기는 언제나오나요?
The link doesn't take me to the book 😮
Me either !!! Help!
I have an earlier because yours I don't remember the name but it's blue I think. It looks very nice but there are dense blocks of words with a small font it is higher than my eyes. So I'd love to make the suggestion that maybe the Nextbook have a larger format or at least a bigger font. Thank you for posting this
Thank God! I have been searching for left handed tutorials. Yay a southpaw!
Glad I could help!
Me too, Jenny!!😊
I would add that it makes so much difference what paint and paper you use to be able to handle the water that way. I tried using some old non-cotton paper and old paints the other day and it was such a fail! So it makes a huge difference using quality paint and paper. Thank you so much, as always, for your wonderful tutorials, Harriet!
So true!
This is fantastic, just started to learn the acorn section of your book. 😊 thank you so much. Xx
Yes but beginners all can’t afford the ridiculous prices nor should they. They need good products at affordable prices because who practices on Arches? Beginners need a lot of practice … and a lot of paper.
@@UJB123 that’s exactly why I use an affordable good cotton paper and never use things like arches in my tutorials
@@UJB123 of course. Everyone has to start somewhere. My point was that you won’t be able to get these effects unless you have the better stuff. I didn’t want people to think they were going to be able to sit down with low supplies and get this quality because I’ve tried and it doesn’t work. I finally found I had to have both. Some cheaper stuff to practice on and then some more expensive to then try after I had practiced.
You are the most enjoyable to watch and listen too!
Thanks Marianne!
Thank you for your wonderful tutorial videos! I’m in my 60’s trying to learn to watercolor and I really enjoy your lessons and your accent!😊
You are so welcome!
So smart and clear tip 🥰 you made me addicted to watercolor 😇
Thank you so much 😀
I enjoy learning watercolor with you. A simple leaf yet the brush selection is so important. Thank you. Keep teaching me.
Thank you so much 😀
That is an excellent rule. I saw a watercolor tutorial video once where it said “ it’s not you it’s the paper”. I fixed the paper and things were so much better. Bought Harriets recommended brushes and that was a game changer. Techniques are everything as well and Harriet tells you everything and all you need.
Ah I'm so glad you found it all helpful. Paper makes such a difference
Beautiful!!! You always make me believe I can do what you are doing! Thank you!!!
You can do it!
Thank you Harriet! ❤
Thanks Christine! This was something I feel like I said a lot in France!
Really helpful video, I haven't heard the process explained so well before, thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful!
I’d love to see a detailed maple leaf 🍁. I can get the basics down, but dangit the details are killing me.
I gotta get my hand on this book ❤
Hopefully this will help
Thanks, a great practical framework.
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Thanks so much for this video. It's 5:32 a.m. in Texas and I am getting my paints out and trying these lovely Oak leaves. The explanation of the brush use at the different stages of color was so simple and yet, I had never thought about a painting project this way. I am going to start every painting with those suggestions in mind from now on. Very helpful to us beginners for sure!
Wonderful!
Loved this!
My order of pro arte brushes arrived, excited to start using them…watched water control video, as I watched the oak leaf painting, I don’t have the hang of how wet the paper is for the first stage.
Ah enjoy! I love these brushes!
Just beautiful! Thank you Harriet and I look forward to Friday 😊❤
You are so welcome
Love this. Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!

Thank you for this really informative tutorial on brush sizes as I’ve found it a bit daunting when I’m trying to create my own piece. I’ll give this a go after work 👍
This video is presented so clearly! ( as always😉)
I’m going to share it with my 9 year old granddaughter who loves to watercolor.
Thanks for sharing!!
Love that you share this w her!
Perfect timing as the fall colours are reaching there peak here in Ottawa. Among my challenges is trying to paint images of the lovely staghorn sumac leaves that are so, so red with bright green/gold veining. ouf!
You can do it!
Great tip, thank-you!
Glad it was helpful!
I will try this tip tomorrow. Makes sense to use progressively darker color and smaller brushes. Thank you for your specific example.😂
You are so welcome!
Great lesson, love your art
Thank you! Cheers!

Yes Mahira! It’s funny, this whole rule didn’t actually occur to me until we were in the art room in France and I kept repeating it to everyone’

New painter here. thanks so much for this; its so much prettier than other glazing techniques on TH-cam. Can you please do a vid using this technique for flowers? The glazing and shading on my work is alittle....sad.
Great suggestion!
First I am going to get the detail brushes, didnt know how important those are, then I will watch this video a couple of times more and after that I will practice, thanks for this video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Glad it was helpful!

Only a few more days until your book is available here in the US. Can't wait!!! I love these fall tutorials.

Thank you 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Beautiful. Maybe you'll come to US (California) sometime.
Maybe one day!
❤
😊
My book. Ooo where are you 😢😢😢💙💜🩷
You're so wonderful unpretentious.
Thanks! We cant be anything other than ourselves on here!
Love the lessons. Not sure if you've explained before, but in your books with the circles of color that bleed into each other. I know you called it a centipede: what do the circles represent and how do I use that knowledge to paint the project?
The circles represent how the colour changes the more diluted it is. This is helpful when you want to create a paler version of a colour. 😊
@@deWintonPaperCo thank you
Hi Harriet do you have a lid for your paints or do you just leave them as they are when you not painting?
I just leave them
Now why can't my leaves come out looking like this and not like a squirrel pelt? That's what my husband said it looked like anyways. 😂
Keep going!
My sides are hurting!
Where can I purchase your book please?
Currently on Amazon… I am sold out in my own shop but ordering more stock!
I couldn’t find the book … Have they all gone ?
It’s still there!
👍👍👍💕💕💕🇩🇰
that one rule has alot of rules...
Haha! Yeah!
