Finally watching a video for changing truck tires by somebody with some common sense. Somebody that doesn't lay the truck tire down Lube it then pick it up and flip it over. This is how I do it. The only differences I use the mouse. I don't squirt anything. I step on the tire and lube the bead and the inside of the wheel. Squirting just leaves run streaks and not a full lube. Also leaves quite a mess with all the excess. And a completely wet sidewall that you can't step on.
I bought one of those for my service truck. Goodyear wouldn't supply it. I had to go to Butler trucking and dismount and mount 150 tires by myself and when i got to my last set of 8 they sent me some help and i sent the guy back to the shop. At that time i was a tire technician from another planet. Everyone would want to go to the job sites with me just to see for themselves if I could actually do the work by myself. I had clients call the shop and request me and they didnt care how long they had to wait. United Rentals wouldn't allow anyone else on their property due to one of our techs driving in 5 studs on a lowboy trailer and didnt even take the drum off to fix it and I had to go out on the highway to make the repairs and they said if anyone other than myself went to their property they would not be using us again. I can not allow us to lose a client like them cause someone was lazy
That is the TNT Golden tool he is using. It really makes a difference when you have a large volume of tires to change. If I'm doing just a few tires, I'll use the T45 bars which are the straight bars with the curved ends...
@Larry Alongi Not necessarily. These were steel wheels and have a nice round bead shoulder. When you have aluminums that are worn they have a very sharp edge and this tool shoves so hard it cuts the bead. Where as a bar Lifts the tire away from the shoulder of the bead and prevents it from being dug into and cut. Tire men have both tools and we use them in different situations.
used to do that back in the day tube type tires with flaps bead or tire didn't come off nearly that easy when i got a tubless wheel to change that was a treat much easier
USE IT, you will NOT be sorry you did, I use ours exclusively on duals, and the first side of super singles, unless it's completely stubborn and I can't get the golden bar into the bead. We have 2 different types of the dual bars, 1 with a spoon head and the others that look like prybars, we also have the wide spoons and a pair of dual handle roller dismount wide short spoons. Mounting, we have the blow-ring hooked to a 100 gallon tank with a 1.5-inch hose and quick valve, and a small Cheetah tank.
Brother you're killing em walking through them like child's play !!! Big Respect 🙏 🫡
Impressive! You deserve every penny you get for that hard work!

good comment
Not just that but it keeps from tearing the bead.

Man, never knew of that kind of tire demount tool that you used... I just use two big crow bars.
Damn fast for truck tires, found out they are really easy to change though. Try demounting 35 series runflats with no scratches on the rim.
he make it look easy but it's hard as hell
nice job, glad I don't do tires anymore, I took longer than that to do a tandem axle

much easier
what's wrong with those tires in the front? still got a lot of tread from what I see
Alguien sabe donde quedó este cubano

Need more videos from you.
Very good men I do this every day using the same tools
How i could a bill that tools.
i'm from the uk and i've never see the tool you used to break the beads it's always been angle iron
It's called a bead axe we use them in New Zealand
bro I work for loves I do this constantly good work
Saludos!
Hola Jose
Do you not make videos anymore?
I still think its faster with two tubless bars, no matter how many you have to change.
Nice work
What size truck you work off of tripleA??
Thanks!
Real tire man not a poser
true.. tire tech on real world.. not michelin or Goodyear theory
Never used that kind of bar he is using. Got one in the shop but it stays un used. We stick to the classic 2 bars for dismounting
