    Nice info. Things like these keeps the creativity alive. However, using the wifi library and captive portal could be an option too! No need to know and type the IP address, just connect to wifi and let the captive portal take you to the config page.

    I have been trying to store the data to another string like you do in this with esid variable and saving it, but to no luck, before I think I could do it, and it could connect but now for some reason that doesn't seem to be working, idk what to do, I am doing the same as you, but what I have is ESP32-WROOM32D board, and I tried checking it various ways, not sure what is wrong.

    WifiManager library by tzapu can also be an option. And I personally like it because it provides better interface.

    Hi Sachin. One mre usefull project. Short and simple. i was thinking one more option. now take an example. i am end user of one project implemented with your code. i dont have arduino IDE on my laptop. so, when AP is connected successfully i should get one green light connected on one pin on nodemcu so that user should come to now of successfull connection. afer that only he should connect to his wifi and later on successfull connection to his home network, the same green led should blink 5 times and then your led blink code should come (or actual code), what say

    I have a doubt. How do I know what is the hotspot that the ESP8266 gives me without connecting it to a serial port? Is there not an option for the hotspot to be fixed?

    Sir I have a small query that I'm unble to solve can u solve it my problem is that I want to do simple led on off using esp8266 and thinger io I have done it but after power off and then on to esp then that does not save last state it reset .means my last test is on but after esp reset that shown led is off. Or wise wersa . I want to do program as like after reset it should be shown last test ie on will be on or off will be off. Please help

    Can you please tell how you are opening 192.168.4.1 in web browser....?
    I tried to open for the several times but encountered error again and again.
    Showing the 'waiting.............' msg in the serial monitor. Every thing is OK.
    But only the problem i can't open 192.168.4.1 in the browser
    very disappointed.
    Please tell me the solution on this.

    I tried it but in serial monitor reading EEPROM SSID and pass not shown just blank, waiting for Wi-Fi connection then it turned the hotspot on then the local IP :(IP unset) show soft IP : 192.168.4.1 and scan network and then it just remain waiting. esp8266 hotspot not show on smart phone or laptop and the IP address 192.168.4.1 also not open i tried many times . kindly guide me how to do it.

    Why complicate when you can easily use WiFi Manager by TZapu. Its a library which handles everything and has some real good advanced usage.
