Actually I can confirm that Claude in GTA III can say that quote sometimes while stealing a car, because back in the day I had an early version of GTA III for PS2 and I remember that while I was stealing a car, Claude said "Get out of the car". I don't understand why Rockstar continues to deny that sometimes Claude could speak:(
5:30 Gta 4's map was smaller because Rockstar changed their engine from Criterion's Renderware to Rage engine leaving many established already made mechanics behind and starting everything from scratch in their new Rage engine. It takes more time to start on a new engine because everything have to be made again.
That's why there is no GTA 6 bcs they change engines again lol (jk I don't really know if there ever will be a 6th part bcs there are some rumors that they Canceled the whole Grand Theft Auto Project)

The map in gta4 may have been smaller, but it was ludacrisly dense and detailed and probably the most believably "living" world time of release. The traffic was heavy in the spots you would see in real life, the tall buildings adding verticality, etc. It was the first HD gta so they were just dipping thier toes. Then I believe they did red dead to test non road terrains and see how the engine would handle nature, then gta5 was the culmination of everything
The nitro to the motorbikes was removed, probably because it would be too fast for the player & the game to handle. The speed might've been too fast, to the point that either the player or the game itself, would be crashing...
I don't believe that in the slightest. You could still add nitro to bikes using the nitro cheat, and they're not that hard to control, just control your throttle input and you'll be fine.

At 1:30, the orange atmosphere is not only in the PS2 version. In PC, you can turn on the trails option from the display settings to make orange atmosphere just like PS2 version.
@@aarnavcheema if you got it from one ofbthe repacks that had mods that brought some stuff from ps2 that was going around on the internet then it had it. Either way an unmodded version of VC on PC doesnt have trails option.

@@migs6674 it’s more oriented around the online side of the game. All these awesome new cars are only available online and not in single player. Fortunately I play on PC so I can spawn these with a trainer, and I can also edit various game files with OpenIV so that peds drive the vehicles and they spawn parked up, waiting to be stolen.
Oh yeah, they added so much gore in rdr2 which looked more realistic in graphics, but haven't added to gta v which series is just famous for its violence, this can't be the reason
Those beta & removed features should be added in GTA DE but not only R* didn’t add them, they make the Trilogy even worse. They look like Cyberpunk 1977 The Definitive Edition.
Game development is not easy, you have multiple teams working on all 3 games under both a strict time limit and a strict budget so if one of the teams falls behind, the other teams have to pick up the pace to make up for lost time which can cause things to get cut, rushed, and obviously for things to fall between the cracks, all that gets harder with the more games you have to work on at the same time, each with strict budgets and time limits

Sure, budget and time limitations are realities of game development, but set limitations too tightly with unrealistic expectations, quality is bound to suffer. No excuse for the 3 worst demakes i've seen of a franchise with such a huge following, if they did a 60 fps widescreen with support for modern controllers and hardware with PS2 restorations and some bug fixes and new additions they would have made bank with the trilogy, Rockstar are dirtbags ever since GTA v tough.
4:20 no thats not a "reminisce" of a removed feature, in gta san andreas's car models, you can find that vehicles have extra parts and normal parts. in the games code when spawning a vehicle it will randomly decide weather the vehicle has extra parts or not. in gta 3 and vice city you can see this happening when a car like a patriot spawns. sometimes the patriot has a closed trunk and sometimes it doesnt. vehicles also randomly spawn with window louvers aswell (those plate things that are on the back of the mafia sentinel) in gta 3 normal sentinels also sometimes spawn with that along with mafia sentinels.

Yeah, I never really noticed it in the neon atmosphere of Vice City except for maybe the beach, so they did a good job of not making it too overwhelming. I never liked it in San Andreas cause it made everything the orange shade and it seemed a bit more over done and I feel it kinda takes aways from certain locations. Interesting stuff, regardless. Works really well for more hot and desert areas. 😅👍🏻

There was (is) actualy a weather called "Earthquacke" (i guess you know what happens when it occures), but the command is still in the game's code it is Just set to value: 0, so that means that you can set the value to a other numbers and the Earthquacke Will sometimes occur in the vanilla game
So, quite speculative, but here we go: Claude having a voice on the video is a cascade of events. First off, this was released to the press first, to show how the game was 'n' all; they didn't even find a good font to use in the video, later they changed it. All sounds, except maybe for the music, is reused from GTA I and II due to the game still being developed (it wasn't ready enough to get a library of sounds). Since they would have to test if sounds come from doing actions (like, pointing a gun to someone and they saying something) and putting the same sounds on every pedestrian they had, it would be best to just put the sounds on Claude and let him do the sounds, then you can assign to a pedestrian later; this could've happened to check the sound when stealing someone's car. Secondly, at the start of the development the idea was for Claude to not have a voice; certainly that, if many people are working on a project, not everyone would agree with that (you can check that on GTA Series Videos's "The Design Behind GTA 3" video that, in the game document they were using, it keeps flipping between Claude being able to talk and Claude not saying a word; go check it out). So, for some, it was normal to have Claude having a voice, and for others, not; and when recording the video for the press kit, if it supposedly fell on someone who's accustomed with the idea of a talking Claude the job of recording, editing and checking it if there's no mistakes... yeah, in the end, they slipped up there and won't admit it
For the enhanced and expanded edition, they should have tried to add some of their beta content as that would make it a bit newer (still not enough for an *paid* upgrade)
You can actually play basketball at numerous places in the OG ps2 game (not greatest hits version) I believe you can even play it in co-op if I recall correctly. The one co-op spot down by Smokes house off grove street was the one I used to use often to play co-op.

Apartment 3c is a big fat reference to Scarface, mainly the scene where Hector uses the chainsaw to kill Angel (hence the blood in the bathroom) And threatens to kill Tony as well. Claude was never meant to speak , the trailer had inserts from GTA 2 added into it. GTA 3 had cut helicopters and bikes, strings still exist, enabled with mods, was added to VC which was meant to be DLC for GTA 3. PC and mobile ports are based on a late beta build allot of cut scrips.
I thought that the character switching from SA was supposed to include Ryder originally, and you lost access to him when he died in the original story under the bridge. By the way, fun fact: Ryder wasn't originally intended to be a traitor, but his VA quit before production was finished, so they had to change things and make due with what they had. That's why Ryder doesn't have any unique lines past The Green Sabre about anything. Also why CJ doesn't mention him when they find the sabre, and it's hardly ever mentioned that he's one of the traitors.
Ryder's VA was underpaid like Ray Liotta so ofc that made him quit and the reason why Ray Liotta didn't appear in SA. He was supposed to make an appearance in SA.
For Claude can’t speak, I think someone made a video, Vadim M or GTA series video or someone else(I don’t remember) well. They found a disc issued by the Rockstar Games to the press in the announcing E3 have the exact same trailer and that voice line in it.
No claude wasn't able to talk at all in the physical game. The "get out of the car" is actually just something their used in the trailer that was used in a previous GTA game. At no point did they develop him a voice or voice actor in GTA 3. It was only planned very very early in the game design document but never implemented.
I do wonder tho if R* was able to make the character switch option work in GTA SA who would be the main characters and how many would there have been 2 or 3 or 4? And would the story have changed at all?

there’s one thing that i wish they would have added to gta v: make all the rooms in franklins mansion accessible. it seems like they are just additional bedrooms and a bathroom, but it would be amazing to have some typical r* visual jokes in there or something. after all, san andreas had houses with accessible rooms as well that were not immediately necessary for any gameplay purpose and michaels mansion also has multiple rooms which you can enter.

They reused Manhunt assets for gta san andreas
They ripped certain tree models out of gta 5 and planted them into rdr2. Also the San andreas trilogy remaster is using gta 5 assets.

There's beta scripts of 3 where claude had dialouge. It was likely cut due to time restraints

Apartment 3c is a big fat reference to Scarface, mainly the scene where Hector uses the chainsaw to kill Angel (hence the blood in the bathroom) And threatens to kill Tony as well. Maybe they wanted to make a mission like that too, idk. Afcourse, almost the whole game is a Scarface reference but you get what im saying.

Claude was never meant to speak , the trailer had inserts from GTA 2 added into it. GTA 3 had cut helicopters and bikes, strings still exist, enabled with mods, was added to VC which was meant to be DLC for GTA 3. PC and mobile ports are based on a late beta build allot of cut scrips.
I thought that the character switching from SA was supposed to include Ryder originally, and you lost access to him when he died in the original story under the bridge.
By the way, fun fact: Ryder wasn't originally intended to be a traitor, but his VA quit before production was finished, so they had to change things and make due with what they had. That's why Ryder doesn't have any unique lines past The Green Sabre about anything. Also why CJ doesn't mention him when they find the sabre, and it's hardly ever mentioned that he's one of the traitors.

For Claude can’t speak, I think someone made a video, Vadim M or GTA series video or someone else(I don’t remember) well. They found a disc issued by the Rockstar Games to the press in the announcing E3 have the exact same trailer and that voice line in it.

No claude wasn't able to talk at all in the physical game. The "get out of the car" is actually just something their used in the trailer that was used in a previous GTA game. At no point did they develop him a voice or voice actor in GTA 3. It was only planned very very early in the game design document but never implemented.
Clauds voice was a sound bite from gta 2. As a place holder for showing the game.
I do wonder tho if R* was able to make the character switch option work in GTA SA who would be the main characters and how many would there have been 2 or 3 or 4? And would the story have changed at all?

The GTA 3 "Get out of the car" line wasn't fake, it was edited on by Rockstar themselves and was a line borrowed from GTA 2 for that trailer only.

there’s one thing that i wish they would have added to gta v: make all the rooms in franklins mansion accessible. it seems like they are just additional bedrooms and a bathroom, but it would be amazing to have some typical r* visual jokes in there or something. after all, san andreas had houses with accessible rooms as well that were not immediately necessary for any gameplay purpose and michaels mansion also has multiple rooms which you can enter.
Not all houses in GTA San Andreas had accessible rooms, The Johnson's House in Grove Street has two inaccessible doors.
5:38 uhh well gta 3 had a bigger map than vice city and vice city came out after gta 3 so that statement isnt entirely true. also gta 1 has all 3 cities (vice city, liberty city, and san andreas) in one game but those cities were never combined in one game in the series again.
