Even without all these features, I'm still amazed how PS2 was able to handle gta sa since it was an open world with 3 big cities on it, and the details is just unbelievable.
In the mission Reuniting Families, when Big Smoke, Ryder, CJ and Sweet are escaping the cops, BIG Smoke drives through the car wash, And CJ says Aah Smoke I got soap in my eyes
Imagine the different viewpoints from CJ, Caeser, and Sweet if you could play as them all. That is a really awesome feature. It doesn't surprise me that it was cut. Ps2 definitely wasn't capable of keeping up with all of that at the same time.
Rumors says gta san supposed to have 2 disk...i dunno why....thats why there are many remove contents like missions, weapons, sides characters calls and missions~ CJ first time met up tommy from vice city its continuation of its story with tommy and his friends...damn😢

The Dirty car's only appear on the steam release, where it was always dirty, On the Disc version of the game, you would actually make you're car dirty yourself. So you were correct but also wrong. :D
yeah so were reflections. They were removed for the pc because back then nobody believed pc gaming would be a successful market and only car wheels are reflective on pc now

That character switching looked like a mod to me, really hard to believe they had the gtav feature fully thought out and functioning in nearly the same way over 10 years prior.

The skateboard feature would’ve been incredible, but I’m even more surprised of the character change feature as if it wasn’t originally planned for GTA V.. incredible lol missed opportunity on not implementing it but it would’ve needed a lot of work and a ton more money put into the game which may have been worth it

Might be a relatively old video but it does explain the scale that San Andreas’ gameplay was originally supposed to have. The 3 character thing is what I think is the most interesting part. Imagine if the game was released today. You’d have a Aztecas storyline as well and you could delve into Sweet’s businesses while CJ was working with other Los Santos based characters, excluding C.R.A.S.H.

The drug dealing feature can be returned (not completely) by the BlackMarket mod, (when i installed new mod to my san andreas, i installed the SkyUI by _AG, and seeing in the stats menu, the blackmarket restores the cut drug dealing stats) 2. mods can do anything 3. By deleting the #s from the bikes mods in the carmods.dat, i dont know why but by enter to transfender with a motorbike, the game crash 4. You can also clean your car in Pay N Spray, (silentpatch add the ability to clean cars, due a code error) try it on PS2™ 5. Nice Video, you got my like ;)
I actually know every single of this since i started playing this game 3 years ago (the dirty car thing is always a thing you can clean your car through paint and spray but when you drive through dirt and sand it will get dirty)

Imagine if there were Bigfoot,ghost drivers,Leatherface,Samara,animals...roaming around. Flood happening. Parkour moves. Etc.

That's weird, i remember my PlayStation 2 official GTA San Andreas to have that mini game and i played it several Times, i could ONLY do the minigame if my progress with Denise was MAX, as a kid i never understood what they were doing but i can guarantee that i played that minigame at my PS2, unfortunately that CD doesn't work anymore, idk if it was because of my CD but i did play that cool minigame

The character wheel was never a thing, in 2013 when 5 came out people talked about how it could have been a thing but it never actually was a thing, it's just a mod.
I remember on my PS2 copy, cars would get dirty after driving around a lot, especially off road. One time, I had the Cars Float on Water cheat on and the car got clean due to the water! I don’t think it worked on my PC copy though.

Well the developers had a vision ahead of their time while developing gta:sa and come to think of it, just imagine if all this code was actually implemented and finalised in the alpha version, how would that have been? Although this game is ranked among the all time best games, just imagine what it would’ve been like if it was actually completed as planned! My upmost respect and salutes go to this this company for actually envisioning such a remarkable and astonishing concept that no one would have ever imagined and pulled it off! You guys definitely deserve each and every penny of what you earned!

The cars being dirty thing was a PC issue, on the ps2 version the cars would eventually get dirty, on PC they are always dirty

The paint and spray will clean it but when you drive through sand or dirt it will instantly go dirty (if not then mobile has some details in it)
