    How cool is so that Showroom allowed him to test out the roaster like that? So cool!
    Also, big news coming in 2022! Stoked!

    Love this guy. Authentic and genuine. I'm from Iceland and I'm really relying to this guy from Florida.

      Yes indeed! Jordan was one of those guys that are just super easy to talk to right off the bat. Felt like we were old friend in the first five minutes. Truly appreciate you watching and super cool to hear that someone from Iceland is tuning in. Can't wait to visit that place one day!

    This was an amazing story, loved it a lot. Seeing the two of you guys just chilling and talking about the industry, the hurdles, and expectations has been an eye opener. Hopeful to be able to join you guys at the round table one day soon.

    His story is about the most inspiring I have ever heard my whole 2 years slowly getting into coffee roasting from home. With all the ups and downs is heart warming to hear someone else’s success story even when he has a whole life ahead of him in coffee. Rob I have been following your content for a couple years now and you have been a great influence! Can’t wait to share some of my coffee with you soon (mount cafetal coffee) thank you for what you bring to our community ☕️

      Dude thanks so much for the kind words! It really makes devoting the time and energy to these videos and podcast so worth it! Jordan was just a real dude! That’s why I think everyone seems to be relating. No fluff, not faking anything or trying to be better than anyone. Loved our conversation. I’m going to keep at it as long as I keep getting feedback like this! Truly appreciate you listening my friend!

    To start off with...I will basically 2nd all the comments here before me ! This episode has been inspiring on so many levels / I just started looking at the Arc 800 as of yesterday and this interview helped to answer %90 of the questions I had with the added bonus of coming from someone totally relatable. Wicked thanks to Rob for always putting out such honest and down to earth content and also thanks to Jordan here for being of the 'sharable' type of the coffee community. Keep up the great work...and please know people are listening : ) Stay Caffeinated !!

      Wow what an awesome comment! Thank you so much! Ya the Arc seems like a pretty sweet roaster. I think if I had to do over that’s what I would of got in the beginning. I still would like one as a sample roaster. Plus his experience with the company had me sold too! Haha I’m going to do my best to keep all this going and getting comments like this make it all worth it! Truly appreciate you listening and good luck on your purchase!

    This dude has some wisdom. Keep social media in check, know your customer, leave comparison behind.

      He definitely did. I like when he mentioned driving the car before you buy it. Such a simple concept but when your forking over that much money on some of these roasters it’s nice to roast on it first. He def thinks strategically. Cool dude too. Thanks for watching buddy!

      @@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee ya Also i wanted to say thanks I have been roasting a year on the Kaldi mini after seeing you (popcorn maker year before that). Time to upgrade to the arc 800 and do my business thing.

    • @RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee
      @RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes indeed!! I think the Arc is a great choice because you can use it as a sample roaster if you plan to grow and eventually get a 12kg or something. It’s not like your wasting money. You will still need the arc then as well.

    Please don't study the ROI of this youtube channel in the short run - I want to keep seeing these episodes coming 😁
    I'm sure it'll pay off in the long run, these are quality podcasts... the big crowd just doesn't realize it yet, but it'll come!

    • @RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee
      @RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha I was just talking to my wife about that. I decided in the beginning I was going to do 50 episodes before I made a judgement to keep going or pull the plug. That should give me enough improvement time and growth opportunity to decide if it’s worth it. It is nice to get a comment like this! Hell I may decide at episode 60 now! Lol Thanks so much for watching and really happy you are enjoying them. And honestly, thanks for this comment. Needed it!

      @@RobPirieCedarOtaCoffee I could see it in your eyes, hear it in the tone of your voice...me thinking "please God don't give up on this". I really mean it, this is a high quality podcast giving an overview of the whole coffee industry, from seed to cup. In the beginning of your channel you were a bit all over the place but now it's really taking some shape and form. All of it is starting to look a lot more professional. Good quality content, direction, quality video and sound, and it's obvious you have a passion for it. Keep it up man!

      Thanks so much! Ya I’m not quitting anytime soon. I’m planning to have an entire media area in my roastery im planning out for next year. I want to dive all into the TH-cam and Podcast side of things with the build out and launch. Haven’t announced it but I’m planning a build out series once I get the. Holding under contract and secure funding! More will be coming for sure! I want to share it all.
