Oh Andy......how l enjoy your type of presentation...well informed...well tested...and VERY well presented without any type 'talking down' to your audience. Top channel in my book !
DAMN! If I close my eyes I feel like I'm listening to Top Gear for Airguns! This gentleman is a natural! I'm a newbie btw, thanks for teaching so much.
The Gamo does also cost $30 more just for blowback action. Blowback feature uses more precious gas and has less velocity than a non blowback. The daisy is perfect for just plinking at a great price!
I will stand behind Daisy 415. Accurate as you are but the are always 415 ft, FPS sec, here in Florida where we don't have to worry much about cold temps.
I landed the Daisy for $7 on clearance at Walmart - minus the glasses. Great bargain! Actually got a Broadax revolver for $9 and another Umarex for $7 - three pistols with starter BBs and CO2 for under $25!
I live in America, New York State. How about the daisy 4:15 and it is no joke it's a very accurate and powerful pistol. I've had the pistol three or four months and I've shot over 6,000 shots with it. Can 4 x 2 inches from 50 ft away and it goes through one side of the can. If I move up to 30 ft I never miss. If I move up to 20 ft it goes through both sides of the soup can. I get a kick out of these reviews when they use soda cans which you could go through with a slingshot, where's soup can is quite hard. I hate to admit this but I was cleaning it one day and I didn't think it was charged with the CO2 cartridge and I squeeze the trigger to roll a baby out into my hand and this is after I accidentally got the straw from a can of silicon I was greasing the barrel with the straw was in the barrel tool. So I figured squeezing the trigger and rolling the baby I would push the straw out too. Boy did it ever I forgot I had tightened up and energized is CO2 cartridge the straw and the BB went right through my middle finger I found the straw on the other side of the room and I never did find the baby I took a trip to the emergency roomfor a tetanus shot an x-ray and luckily I missed the bone. I can't hear you as a non-lethal self-defense. If you shot someone in the forehead or hand or knee with that gun you could just turn and walk away cuz they're not going to run after you. Needless to say is the best co2 pistol I've ever had and I've had quite a few, it's deadly accurate at 50 ft and beyond but you do lose some of the power but at 50 and closer it is a dangerous gun, I believe it will penetrate skin and bone and even a vital organ if you hit the right spot, not that I would want to do that unless I felt threatened. I even hung a pair of blue jeans I have plywood backing an inside the blue jeans I put tin foil 22 ft and the baby penetrated through the blue jeans and squashed the hard ball of tin foil . If you want to know how hard tin foil is rolled up in a ball just try it, it is really hard and it was squashed by the BB and that was after going through the blue jeans.
I have had a power line for years and l love it. I highly recommend the Daisy 415 Powerline. It’s a great shooter. Mine was made in Japan and great quality.
That daisy 415 is my personal favorite low priced CO2 pistol! Since they were so cheap, I bought a second one. After comparing the daisy 415 to every semi-auto in my various gun digest and Standard gun catalogs, I think that It has the closest resemblance to the Taurus PT24-7 Tactical .45 ACP handgun
C15 is an excellent budget pistol, very solid and well made for under £100. The only downside I can find with it is that the grip cover is not very secure and often slips off whilst handling the pistol.
I first watched this video over a year ago and, while I already own a pretty powerful PCP rifle, I've always wanted the Powerline 415 for fun plinking, but they were usually out of stock. Two nights ago, I found the kit listed on the website of a local sporting goods store for $39.99 plus 20% off, if I signed up for an account, so I got one for $32.
My gamo c-15 bone collector didn’t last the safety, magazine and threads for CO2 tightening broke after a year. But it was fun while it lasted. I loved the fact that it was DUAL FUEL.
Umarex XGB was fun,Crosman Vigilante and now Gamo P430 is my choice..Made in Japan and shoots really well when I am in the mood. I just use pellets as the barrel is rifled. If anyone have P430 let me know about your experience with the pistol.
Really enjoy your show Andy. Talking about budget CO2 hangs however, I still think the Umarex Brodax (name in U.S.) is the winner. I am sure you know it. It is a 6 shot revolver, plastic finish, but the weight and feel is true. The cylinder does not rotate, only the back portion where the BBs are loaded. Best part is the single action trigger if you pull back the hammer manually.
I have the brodax and i absolutely love it all around. Bbs don't fit firmly into some magazine slots but not a big deal and still shoots fine. Brodax is also very affordable so thats part of why i like it so much. Good day
My first, and only airsoft pistol is a Daisy Powerline 426. It's not bad, but I do want something a bit higher tech. Something slightly more expensive.
dual fuel?,, that's a good-un!,, I understood that dual fuel meant that you could burn coal or wood as fuel, but Co2 just don't burn do it, as if it did a Co2 fire extinguisher would not be much help in putting out a fire, you make great videos so keep up the good work
Any recommendations between these 3 gamo as first co2 pistol? i want to know if there is any difference about power or speed in between, and also about quality on materials. Gamo 1911 red alert blowback (99$) Gamo RD compact (65$) Gamo PR 776 (120$) Thank you!
Hey, there, Andy and crew! Greetings from Brazil! Congrats on the videos! It's really hard to find reviews as informative and complete as yours. You not only approach the accuracy and Power of the Guns, but also it's feel in the hand, weight, build quality and many other aspects. Unfortunatelly, here in my country taxation is insanely high, with Guns such as the daystate PCP's costing up to R$ 30.000 (about 7.000 US Dollars in non-crisis times). Anyway, can you help a fellow airgun fan? I'm thinking about buying a PCP Hatsan Predator, and was wondering if PCP Air rifles (that alledgedly have way less recoil) still need anti impact mounts in order to preserve the scope's integrity. I didn't seem to find this information amywhere. Any thoughs about the before mentioned airgun? And the scope dilemma? Sorry for the bad "englando". Thanks and congrats for the great work! Love you guys!
chears Andy but as for checking my car oil, i have`nt got one niether have i got any KIDS and last of all i have my hair very short all the time, otherwise GREAT video as usual and can`t wait for the next one, you and Mrs AAR stay safe in this horrible times
Buenos días tardes o noches, yo tengo la pistola co2, Gamo C- 15, Blowbag y es una maravilla, su calidad, mecanica, fueza, tamaño, facil de usar, realismo etc. ¡ La racomiedo.!
Hi Mr.Andy how are you? As soon as i heard at 5:29 when you mentioned that 2.53 Joules is not enough for hunting i wanted to ask which animal that applied to. I am sure that you were not talking about an animal like a mouse or a small bird and larger because it would probably just hurt it or wound it and as it escapes it would just suffer and maybe die and its body would go to waste since i cannot collect the body and that's not ethical in my opinion. But a gun powerful enough to dispatch it immediately is more acceptable as it puts it out of the pain immediately and i can collect it without wasting the body. However my real question was what pistol that at a lower price (or as low as possible) can exert enough power to immediately dispatch an animal like a frog or toad? I am asking because here in Italy where my grandad lives there is this local dish that consists in frog legs therefore i would like to get him some. Thank you for your time sir.
I AM FURIOUS!!! What's Gamo's address? ;-) 14:58 - I love that the BBs came out as more accurate than the pellets. I need to get my mate to watch this video: he's a snob for pellets whereas I favour BBs but don't mind "dual fueling". Once I get a Beretta M9A3 and let him have a go, I'll have him converted...
Recently discovered the channel. A great watch and always to the end of the videos. I think Andy's a Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear fan though. Not a bad thing. Good stuff.
Nice guns, I always appreciate a good budget review! Are there any good budget repeating air pistols with enough power to be used for hunting birds and small game? Thanks
Great vid. I’m a fisherman and looking for something to deter birds from eating my bait at range. I’d say I need something that can reach a max range of 70 yards. What would you recommend?
watching a lot of yr videos which though not an air gunner i find very interesting and well done. YT put another one from a US channel in front of me - however, when the footage includes ppl wearing ear defenders, muzzle flash, recoil and spent cartridges ejecting, tend to think they may be mixing in some gunpowder powered! 'Top 10 Best Air Pistols in the world' - per a computer!
Yo tengo la: Gamo, C- 15, Blowback, y es una maravilla, 131- 138 m/s. De rapidez inicial, semiautomatinca, pequeña, facil de usar, ( la recomiendo ), muy buena.
Love your reviews, Andy. On the strength of your reviews I have bought a couple of pistols, and enjoy them immensely. I was watching this review, and not sure, but I believe this blowback pistol is marketed in the US as the Gamo P-27.
Another brilliant review I was wondering if you could do a review on the H&N hornet .22 cal I just bought some of them and I am shooting them out of the Walther rotex rm8 varmint 25 j . The pellets are deadly accurate and I can shoot pigeons and other small game in the head at 30+ meters at ease. Great video 👍
@AAR - Andy’s Airgun Reviews What would you suggest is better use for a pistol, loading with a CO2 cartridge or one that fills up via the magazine with a CO2 bottle?
The only "budget co2" that's actually legit and worth it is the glock 19 gen 3. Solid as F! Less moving parts means more durable. No blowback meaning more fps and more efficient with co2 usage. Great simplistic stick mag and co2 holder
@Dara Titus let me know if you have other questions. If you haven't tried any of the Umarex glocks. I really reccomend to get the g19 gen 3 😁. From there you can grab the others based on what you want and looking for.
I've tried all the glocks I've talked about. And I'm not just throwing numbers and fps. But the glock 19 gen 3 hits hard. Like fr. Noticeable different in just the hands and target. Don't need numbers to tell me that lol
Hi Andy, thanks for all your splendid videos mate. I've looked through them for a review on a walther PPS m2 but without success. Any chance on doing one when you've got the time please. Keep up the good work!
C15 is a great pistol. I got one for €65 and it's a lot of fun and very solidly made. I've got a lot of other more expensive pistols but it's probably one of the best airguns I have bought for the price along with my Hatsan striker (€95) and the CP2 (€107). Some great deals on airguns in Spain
andy i dont know which videoo i saw you using the vector 8 magazine umarex fast loading ...i bought one following your vidio .its a bit expensive but i find it really worth the cost thank you very much for putting me on to it keep on with your videos you do a great job
Gamo C15 c02. My review and findings. I bought this gun recently for a bit of fun target shooting, and although I really like the gun, it does have some foibles. In that i found using the Exact 8.46g pellets, the blowback action sometimes shakes the pellet out of the lower mag, and end up on the floor... I found using Gamos own 7.33g pellets this doesnt happen as they fit more snugly in the holes in the mag. Secondly, ive had the Exact pellets jam in the gun, and i had to destroy a mag pulling it out, now weather this was down to the power pellet spray i was using, made the gun stick, i dont know. But since I've not used it since it seems not to jam. Also I've found Umerex 12g C02 not to last very well, having shot 4 or 5, 16 round mags this morning the C02 was empty after just 2 or 3 mags, now maybe another makers C02 would last longer i dont know maybe someone can advise me on this. Overall a great gun, lots of fun
@@garywillacey9979 thanks for the reply ive been using the drop of oil on the C02 tip, and im affraid i do tend to leave it in the gun over extended periods, I think my intial problem was over tightening the C02 screw, but think ive figured it out now 👍
still a very good video ! I have a question nonetheless, what is in your opinion the best CO2 replica (in precision) ? I bought a Sig P226 co2 pellets but the precision is very bad for a manufacturer replica what do you recommend? thank you in advance from france :)
Oh Andy......how l enjoy your type of presentation...well informed...well tested...and VERY well presented without any type 'talking down' to your audience. Top channel in my book !
Thank you kindly

In the US? I would say yes at those prices!
Lucky guy👍 finding those deals. I paid 40$ for my brodax
no joke. can't even find ones "for parts only" on ebay for that price.

The Daisy 426 priced around $20. Shoots about the same speed as the 415 and very accurate

Good video. The blow back game is a nice gun for the price.
Great video. I just bought a Tangfolio 1911, non blow back, for under 50 us dollars.
I have both of these from Drapers and they are fantastic fun for the price.Buy and enjoy.Andy can not be wrong.
Buck Rail in the USA sells a silencer and LASER for the Daisy 415 for $35 USD. The gun retails for about $35 here too.
Great video. And a couple of nice budget pistols for starting out with . Personally I own a Beretta M92 FS

How do you maintain a non-field-strippable pellet pistol? Such as my Sig X-Five asp
Bought the Crosswell C-11 for $ 35.00 Canadian. This gun really surprised me, great action and decent power. Perfect for plinking cans off the fence..

👌 love this dude for his wits
I have Gammo P-25 blowback that will do over 400 FPS with pellets. Fixed open sights shoots to right though.
What do you think about the PT-85 blowback?
I AM FURIOUS!!!
What's Gamo's address? ;-)

Great vid.
I’m a fisherman and looking for something to deter birds from eating my bait at range. I’d say I need something that can reach a max range of 70 yards. What would you recommend?
In regards to the C15, you’re using rounds that are way too heavy. Just use Crossman copperheads at 5.28Gr instead of over 8. That’s insanely heavy.
Andy thanks for so many great videos, love how you explain and present everything 👍
Me too 🥰

I don't know why, but with the goatee and the british accent, I feel like I should call you professor.

I just bought some of them and I am shooting them out of the Walther rotex rm8 varmint 25 j .
The pellets are deadly accurate and I can shoot pigeons and other small game in the head at 30+ meters at ease. Great video 👍

I have a question nonetheless, what is in your opinion the best CO2 replica (in precision) ?
I bought a Sig P226 co2 pellets but the precision is very bad for a manufacturer replica
what do you recommend?
thank you in advance from france :)
What's the best and powerful. 22 air pistol in the uk?

I might get the daisy never had a pistol before, my son would enjoy it too
The use of your use of the word redundant is a clever addition to your review. Had me giggling! Thanks for the laugh.
